The Jerk Spot they closed at 7 we got there about 630. Got oxtails, rice, peas and jerk chicken. The food was ok. The chicken was dry and the oxtails were cut to thin slices. Prices were affordable but I’ll rather gotten cabbage or mixed vegetables then coleslaw. Not a lot of oxtails and they were thinly cut. Customer service could’ve been more welcoming.
Yummmm. I had the ox tail with rice and peas. It was so good. Meat was tender, sauce nice and spicy. The rice was also cooked to perfection - fluffy and seasoned nicely too. Lovely owners.
The most under rated Jamaican spot in Toronto. The best jerk chicken and oxtail I ever had. The oxtail gravy on rice and peas is to die for. Fall off the bone meat so juicy and tender. With every meal, come a small side of coleslaw that pairs so well with the meat. Can't wait to come back and try more!!
