The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Dixon Road

Read they were closed for remodeling. Stayed across the street at the embassy suites and was shocked to see a total REBUILD. Not mere renovations, but torn down and started all over. Will miss that ambiance but look forward to that food again in the future!

Wish we knew they were closing the next day for renovations. Spent $400 on a
mediocre meal. They were out of ingredients to make a signature drink, out of fries, out of orange juice. Service was exceptionally slow. 3 different steaks ordered, all made incorrectly.
Next time .....if I'm getting mediocre, I might as well go to Chucks

Didn’t end up eating here. Walked into the lobby (after trying to find the front door). We noticed tiles missing on the floor then looked around. This place is dated. Finishes and furnishings look worn and in horrible shape. Like a flashback to the 80s. What did it in for us was the smell. Like a sewer. Couldn’t get past that. The keg as a chain is usually so consistent and each location is in pristine condition. Not this one.

Absolutelyly perfect food and great service

We arrived for a work dinner but were not told in advance the location would be closing the next day for a 10 month renovation Kitchen was out of 1/2 the menu options we tried to order. Worst part is the chain is letting all employees go with no job security - even our server who had been there 10 years. Not sure I will eat at a Keg again. Very disappointed

The last night as The Keg now closed to undergo renovations. Excellent service from Claudine. Salads were made with crisp, fresh greens. My steak was perfect. The staff corrected my wife's. We're going to miss this place over the next 12 months as always dine here 2-3 nights per trips to trade shows at The International.

Food was great our service was amazing. Sim really made us feel welcome through his friendly, fun, and polite demeanour- he made our dining experience much more enjoyable!

The Etobicoke / Airport location is a very good one. The service is very professional and the ambience is better than at other locations.

Great dinner from reservation to the dining experience! We know the steaks well, but the server gave a perfect description that the prime rib was cutting off the roast at medium rare which made my dinner selection a slam dunk & the prime rib was Oh So Good!

Staff were attentive and service was great. Food was as expected and steak was cooked as ordered. Only negative is that this location near the airport hasn't been updated in years and could use a face lift.

We came here to celebrate a birthday which was specified when we made the reservation online. Upon our arrival, we were kindly greeted and promptly taken to our table in a very crowded area. We asked if we could be seated somewhere more intimate and we were taken to a much better seat.

The expectation is high because, well, it's The Keg. Our server, Bianca introduces herself, brings the menus and asks if we want any drinks. There was no effort to chat with us or ask the usual "are we celebrating anything tonight?". A little dry in our opinion.

The food was great. The drinks were not the best. They clearly did not know how to make a Gin Ricky. To top it off, there was a giant lipstick mark on the glass. We told Bianca - she took it back and brings another one which tastes worse than the first. At this point we just returned it.

Since our experience was ruined and we didn't even bother with a dessert, we decided to speak with the manager who by the way was very unprofessionally quickly walking around the restaurant yelling his servers names. We didnt' expect much but still tried. He apologized and asked us if we wanted a dessert to take home. We took it and left. Mostly it felt like a quick and easy way to get us to shut up.

The vibe was more of a random pub and not The Keg. Never coming back here again.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I ate here tonight with my son who has allergies (gluten/dairy/soy). Eating out is a challenge for us. The kitchen was super accommodating. I sent a message through the booking app yesterday about the allergies and got a response almost immediately. The server and manager were amazing. Looks like he has a new favourite restaurant!

Attended this restaurant with friends for dinner. Marcus was our server and was just fantastic from start to finish.

Parking: Very convenient and plenty of spots available when we arrived.
