The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - York Street

We love visiting this location whenever we have get together. Our go to place but yesterday was our first time being disappointed! Ordered 12oz Newyork as always! But meat was dry and tough. Got my steak replaced once thinking it was too overcooked however even after they brought out a new steak it still was very tough. We ordered 3 New York (medium and medium rare) but other guests thought the same. Not sure what it was but was first time being disappointed with food at the keg

Wonderful experience at the Keg on York. Himan our Server was exceptional. The scallops wrapped in bacon, shrimp cocktail and petit fillet were all perfect. 10/10 plus a GREAT bar area if you wanted to just have a cocktail:)

We were here on a complimentary gift card for terrible service last summer at the esplanade location As a server myself, Service has gone downhill at the Keg. Food is always consistently good so there's that.

Our server ( Table 5 at 445pm ) she was wonderful. The beers were super cold and the steaks cooked to perfection. It got a little loud but I'm old and easily irritated. Lol. Great night for us. Thanks

The keg used to be a lot more service oriented in the past. Server visits were rushed and difficult to understand and little time was given to return and see if decisions had been made. It felt incredibly hurried and as though we were anxious intrusion. In the past, a great deal more attention to service was the rule..

We had a wonderful time. We had a 4 year old and 11 month old. They accommodated us well. They were very attentive. Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you to the team!

Food was great. The steaks were especially tender. Service was wonderful. Our only complaint was they brought out our meal before we finished appetizers.

There was a small issue when we arrived. I explained my concerns with the floor manager and it was corrected immediately. Then he spent some time at our table and all was well. The experience was great and I am greatly impressed with the service and experience we had . A great place with a truly wonderful and caring staff

Overall, our experience at The Keg was enjoyable, but I wanted to share a couple of points that fell short of the usual Keg standard. We waited almost 20 minutes between our appetizer and our main course, which caused a bit of a delay in our schedule. In addition, my client's steak order was incorrect, and unfortunately, we didn't have time to have it corrected because of the earlier delay. I wanted to pass this along as feedback, as I know The Keg is typically great about consistency and service.

The Shrimp Cocktail was delicious and fresh and my steak was perfectly cooked. I loved the fresh beets and green beans. The only complaint was the potato was really dry. The waiter Harry was so nice and very attentive. The Manager was very gracious with our table after we assisted with another patron concern. So proud of my nursing colleagues !!

Was a great night! Food was amazing and server was quick, attentive and helpful all night.

The service was fantastic. The appetizers and the steak platter was perfect for the 3 of us. We had a"front row" lounge seat to the Maple Leaf game on the big screen tv.
