An older venue with a warm and friendly staff. Came here for a brunch and enjoyed a nice and filling breakfast at a good price. This is a great place for a casual get together, not the best date spot however.

A little pricey, but would rather go here than some of the trendier diners in downtown Toronto. Quality and portion sizes were great, and our server was amazing. Would order everything again except the chick & waffle eggs benny

The Lakeview Diner is a real dive... and that's a GREAT thing! First time here just over a week ago. Had their Cadillac Grilled Cheese, made gluten-friendly, and upgraded to a Beet It side salad. Delicious! The service was friendly. The restaurant is dark and weathered, but that just adds to the cool ambiance. Would recommend and would definitely return. Another bonus... soft drinks served in the can with a glass and lots of ice.
