I have been to this restaurant a few times and everytime I come out very pleased of going there. The owner is super friendly and staff are so good at their job. Food is top notch and excellent in quality and flavors.Owner saw my partner take a piece of zucchini from my plate, and he rushed in the kitchen and brought a plate of zucchini for her on the house. How cool is that? This is my favorite restaurant now.

It's not cheap, but feels like a high-end tea restaurant in Central. 20 yuan per dish plus tip, the milk tea base is too old and astringent. Overall the taste is okay.

Update Apr 2024:Visited again, but this time for lunch, since my friends said they had a good experience. The menu for lunch is the same as the dinner menu. I ordered the club sandwich and my mom ordered the thick toast with iced butter. Both items did not come with a drink since it was not "tea time" (3pm to 5pm).The price of the club sandwich is standard for an HK cafe, but I would say it's a priced higher since it comes without a drink and other HK restaurants usually have a drink. The thick toast with iced butter was a terrible choice. It costs $6.99 + tax for two slices of bread and 4 pieces of butter. Definitely not worth it.Unlikely to return again.Original review:LC Cafe positions itself as a high end HK cafe. The service from the staff was good. The decor/atmosphere was nice - it definitely felt more premium compared to other HK cafes. The items on the menu are more expensive than other HK cafes located uptown. Most items on the menu include a hot drink.I found the hot HK milk tea to be really good - the tea was very smooth.Unfortunately, the baked bolognese spaghetti I ordered was not.The spaghetti was dry and lacked flavour. I ended up leaving half of it unfinished. It was not worth the $20.99 (the most expensive baked bolognese spaghetti I've had).My parents liked the lobster bisque with arborio rice that they ordered.

Found staff nice & attentive, especially with our 2 kids. $51 for 2 main & 2 drinks, which is reasonable nowadays. Tiger schrimp spaghetti is what i preferred the most. Lobster bisque with arborio rice is decent.. not a risotto, not a soup. It's steamed arborio rice in the middle of lobster bisque.. hot lemon ice tea was part of the main dish price, needed to add $2 for ice lemon teaParking: Shared with several businesses. Parking is narrowKid-friendliness: Have high chairs & kids' plates & rubber cutlery. Staff is nice with kids as well

We have tried the Noodle Bar at Warden/HW7 many times and have been very good every time. They opened another HK style Cafe in Scarborough. This cafe is very spacious and the decor is upfront. They even use Le Creuset as their cup for tea. I believe they will eventually run it as an upscale cafe.We were there for afternoon tea, and their menu was $10 flat for their trial period. We ordered the Deep fried HK style shrimp toast and Mini Singapore curry vermicelli with abalone slices. It was the first time we found shrimp toast in Toronto and the dish came hot and crispy, as well delicious. The Singapore vermicelli was just average because the vermicelli was still smashed together. Will come back again for other specialties.

Today I called to take out Gillette Pork Chop. The waiter called me and asked me if I needed any cutlery. I asked for instructions on the phone but there was no cutlery. A male waiter was talking to the manager on the phone. Tell him if the customer is angry. After answering the phone, the manager insisted that I didn't need tableware so he didn't provide it. He meant there was nothing wrong with it, but the fault was that I didn't need tableware to eat. The price is more expensive than ordinary tea restaurants, and the service is worse than ordinary tea restaurants.

First time visiting. Heard about this place from a few friends. Nice decor. Friendly service. Pork chop sandwich/fries/salad and milk tea were all very good. Lots of attention to detail from the Le Creuset mug and coaster to the plating. Thanks for a great lunch.

Their deep-fried HK style shrimp toast ($12.99) was an ideal seafood to bread ratio, the toast topped with shrimp paste and a butterflied shrimp. Indeed, the toast was slightly greasy (expected from this dish), but it was well drained so that it remained crispy and wasn’t overly oil logged. The starter was a better than the LC lobster roll ($22.99), which my husband described as mostly mayonnaise with little chunks of lobster. Its only saving grace, the bun was at least fresh and well toasted.Feeling hungry, the striploin steak with lobster tail on iron plate ($42.99) seemed like a good choice with soup and salad included to complete the meal. LC Café’s Russian borscht follows an Eastern European recipe and includes chunks of beets, so the soup is sweeter than normal. It’s also thicker while still having the slight kick of spiciness. Call me old fashioned, but I still prefer the tomato, cabbage, and beef version any day.Still, the soup was better than the green salad, which was essentially a handful of spring mix tossed in watered down balsamic vinegar. Without other vegetables or even olive oil, it was a harsh and disappointing salad. The hot plate was really hot, which means that if you don’t want your steak over cooked, I’d recommend getting it less done. You’ll also want to start tucking into the vegetables and fries as they will start to burn. Scoop some onto a side plate to avoid having them getting overly done. Not surprisingly, the striploin wasn’t the greatest quality and needed more seasoning so that its flavours didn’t rely so heavily on the Lyon black pepper sauce. It’s strange as the pork chop with lobster tail ($36.99) that my mom ordered was marinated so much that it was too salty. Sadly, there seems to be little consistency on the flavouring of meat.Even though the dinner arrives with plenty of fries, I wish the restaurant offered a choice of sides as I would have preferred rice instead. At least the lobster tail was a decent size but would be easier to eat if left whole and pulled out of the shell to make it easier to cut.The LC Café offers pleasant service and comfortable tables, which is a plus. They also didn’t rush customers out of the restaurant, many sitting there after their meals were complete. Long live the older Asian plazas.

The decor is reasonably nice looking inside. However, since I went during afternoon tea time atmosphere was not as tranquil as it could be. Nonetheless, the service was still pleasant and efficient. The fried shrimp toast was the show-stopper, the photo doesn’t do it justice. It looked way more impressive in real life. And it tasted good! The rest of the food was all fine nothing too exciting. They currently have a promotion where all their afternoon tea set meals are $10 which is a great value! I am interested in going back perhaps for dinner to try out some of their other items!

After much anticipation finally tried out the LC cafe and it was a little disappointing. The decor of the establishment is very chic and I loved the le creuset mugs and the bronzy water cup with their cafe name branded. Our server was friendly and helpful in answering my questions about the menu which was very much appreciated. It’s also nice that 1 standard hot drink is included in the price of all the dishes. The lobster egg on rice came out steaming hot but like many reviewers have mentioned before, unfortunately the ox tongue dish came out lukewarm at best even the gravy. I’ll go back maybe once more to give them another shot when I’m in the area next. Likely will try one of their pasta dishes or the lobster egg on rice.Parking: Narrow parking lot with tight spots

We went there for afternoon tea, but was very crowded. We order 3 cause, 1 angus beef noodle ($13.99), 1 baked pork chop rice($12.99) 1 french toast ($8.99). There was no notice about promotion price anywhere or mentioned by the waiter when we order our food. We checked the bill, all 3 items were charged at $10 per item. The service man mentioned promotion price is $10 per item. How come the original price for French Toast $8.99 were charged for $10? Over charged by $1.01 What theory of promotion price for over charge an original item was less than $10? The quantity and quality were just moderate and doesn't value for the original priceParking: narrow parking
