The Lobster bisque with rice came with a good presentation but quite watery. It would be better if the bisque was creamier. The texture of the rice is not risotto but more like sticky rice. The iced Dalgona coffee was a hit though. Lots of ice and the coffee foam was so smooth.
There were not much room between tables which was hard to maneuver. However, the service was good and efficient. I have to praise they wiped down the chairs when the restaurant whined down....
I came here to try their food and i think it is pretty good, although a bit pricy compared to other hk cafes. Their afternoon tea deal is good tho, $10 cash and reasonable options. I had the ox tongue baked rice (reg menu), and i found the sauce a bit heavy for my liking. The yin yang “coffee” wasnt good, but i hear their milk tea is decent. It is a comfortable place to eat and their menu is large, so i would likely come back to try something else.
If you love ox tongue, this is the place! A slightly upscale Hong Kong style cafe, LC serves up comfort food at a higher price tag than many other similar eateries. I had ordered the grilled ox tongue, baked rice with ox tongue and grilled ox tongue on a bun and they were good.
