The Paddock has been around for decades and is one of the best dive bars. It was slated to close after Covid but the landlord let them sign a new lease. They made it bigger by knocking out a wall at the back and that is where they have renovated the place to put a stage there for the live music. Prices are not bad, staff are great and the place has a really good feel to it. Glad to see it is staying around for a while longer

I left my backpack behind by accident and the manager contacted me to ensure I got it back. Really appreciated that they did this for me!

This place has been around for so many years. For those of you who used to go to Jeff Healeys bar way back when to see him and other great musicians play live music, you will remember it was beside the Paddock. So we have been going to this place for years when going to Healeys as well. Its kinda cool. It seems like a place Dracula would hang out at, lol. Or a great place to film a scary movie. As the color scheme is dark wood, black and red colors. It definitely has a unique feel to the atmosphere. I am not aware that this bar offers food. We now go here as an after-hours bar on the occasion. One last stop before heading home for the evening. Mixed younger croud. But welcoming to our older ages. The staff are all pretty cool, too. My only complaint is they don't carry Jamesons whiskey! And if you have a designated driver, your best bet to find parking is on Queen Street.
This place deserves 10 stars. Amazing staff. They keep it open until late. Great hospitality. If you don't live in Toronto don't miss your chance and come early and stay late. You won't regret

Went here for a NXNE show. The staff had such low energy and made it incredibly obvious they didn’t want to be there. They also made you feel like they didn’t want you there. Has such potential! Hopefully they can do better.

The gentlemen here (one of them named Niko) are very hospitable and run a very functional bar that emphasizes social interactions, respect, and above all kindness. Amazing humans. They try to get to know each patron and are genuinely interested in every customer. This place attracts a positive crowd
Above all, their tap selection is excellent.
Great location but weird atmosphere. We were the only people in the bar at 10pm on Saturday. We left after few minutes.

I mean, open till 4am, if u want to have a few after last call this is your place. 10dls cover and pints on the pricey side, but that's what it cost to drink after last call anywhere.
Always a great spot in the city for a late night drink.

Friendly spot, always open until 2 am.
Great place for a few drinks on their new large Gripblock patio. Could've spent much more time there... I will be back!
Amazing hidden gem. Found it on a busy Fri night cause couldn't get into Lavelle. literally across street on Bathurst, so chill, budget drinks. Closing around 4, so perfect fir weekend
Chill music. Open late. TCM movies on the screens. ??
Drink service was fine, owners/managers were cool! Shots sent around for the whole restaurant! Cool vibe
