Short Turn Reviews
as big snackbar fans we were FAST to jump on the short turn train and goodness it has delivered. haven’t been in since the menu/brunch relaunch but we were briefly regulars last winter and it was the happiest time of my life. literally haven’t been back since a very nice waitress recognized us as regulars for the first time rip (not bc of this incident just bc of life) SEE YOU SOON SHORT TURN!!
Unfortunately we had a dinner reservation after this spot. Otherwise we would have ordered a lot more. It was amazing though. Sat in the back area and got to talk to the main chef. Cool experience
Cocktails are mid. Food is a bit overpriced but their pancake deserves a 10/10.

Short Turn is a charming restaurant, known for its friendly staff and delightful snacking food. With its cozy, old-fashioned diner design, the atmosphere is moody, intimate, and refined, making it a great spot for a date night or social gathering. The drink selection is excellent, and all the food and drinks are well done, with small portions perfect for sharing. They offer a unique fusion of Japanese, Korean, Middle Eastern, and North American cuisines in tapas-style dishes, with favorites like the scotch egg and juicy stuffed wings. The cocktails are always great, served in tall glasses with beautiful garnishes like lime wedges and thick plastic straws, enhancing the drinking experience. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, helping diners choose drinks and explaining the menu. The interior features wood finishes contrasting stainless steel, creating a retro but modernized look, and the narrow space gives an intimate feel, almost like being in a train. Although the music can be loud, the lively vibe attracts a young crowd. Overall, it’s a great place to catch up with friends, enjoy some snacks, and sip on well-crafted cocktails.
