DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!Possibly the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had.Oxtail - Watered down, no seasoning no flavour.Curry Goat - Watered down, full of oil, no seasoning and no flavour.Jerk Pork - no j**** no flavour. All the items purchased tasted stale and prepared the day before and just lifted with water. This is not an example of authentic Jamaican food and I do not recommend anyone to consume anything from there.

Just got a delivery from here.Curry chicken dinner horrible dry and no sauce. Chicken soup no chicken in either one. Fried dumplings cooked in old oil.By far the worst food experience. The only thing that was edible was the roti skin.

We ordered from them tonight and WOW! We are big fans of Caribbean and this is by far stellar food! The festivals are massive, perfectly made and the gravy…next level. J*** chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked, rice & peas sooo good. Must try (again & again!)

We had a craving for Jamaican and were driving through our old haunts in East York. The Real J*** for lunch was so good! J*** chicken, Curry goat, oxtail and rice and peas! Great food and service. Ginger beer, Red Stripe and a new drink....a dark and stormy.Dietary restrictions: Being Celiac this food works for me and I love spice.

Went to order an ackee and salt fish for lunch. Asked for provisions, they were out, asked for fried dumpling, they were out. I don’t eat rice so I asked if I can substitute for vegetables because there was nothing else to substitute it with. The picture below is what I received. She charged me $25?!?! Such a rip off! I could get a full snapper dinner for this price. I was still hungry after eating such a small portion. Charged me full dinner price and full price for the side of vegetables. I’m beyond upset. I feel like I was robbed.

There’s far better places in the city, for Jamaican food and definitely for service. It was a busy night with one server so I totally understand the general slowness. Here’s my experience from last night:First, I asked the server for a gin and soda. 10 mins later she comes back and tells me they have no soda water, brings me the drink menu and says order off here. I select a Jamaican mule, and another 5 mins later she comes back and tells me they have no ginger beer. At this point I just give up on the idea of having any alcohol so I just ask for the food menu. I ordered the goat roti which was subpar. I realize goat has a lot of fat and bone, but there was maybe 1-2 chunks of actual meat in the whole thing. Roti texture was off too, and quite oily so oil pooled at the bottom of the box. I ate what I could and paid my bill. This is where it gets egregious: After eating, I was chatting with my friends when 30 mins later server comes up to me and accuses me of not paying. The machine wasn’t printing the receipt when she handed it to me so I couldn’t get my copy of the payment slip. Thankfully, I paid on my Apple Watch so it clearly showed a transaction of $16.82 at Real J*** 35 minutes ago, but she kept insisting I didn’t pay and wants me to pay AGAIN. Had I paid with credit card I would have had no proof and would have had to pay again.I’m furious at this point - how can you accuse your customers of not paying when you have the receipt from the point of sale machine!? How embarrassing to get called out in front of everyone for “not paying”! I had to stand there while she reconciled the receipts before she conceded I did pay. I didn’t even get an apology from her.I would absolutely never come back here again.

The owner helped to provide the food for Malvern CI's cultural food day. He provided trays of j*** chicken, rice and peas and coleslaw. Then for good measure, he threw in some curry chicken and some well seasoned up chicken wings at no charge! The food is delicious, the customer service was outstanding and the owner even helped me bring all of the food out to my car. I would definitely go back to eat and I highly recommend the food! The staff and students cleaned their plates and even came back for seconds! Thank you for providing the food for our event! It was a great success:)

Great food the best j*** I have had. Wife had the oxtail and she enjoyed it very much. Coconut shrimp is killer. The staff friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be back.

I had the j*** wings & j*** pork poutine & 2 of their Dark & Stormys (they called it something else) & got a 1/2 chicken to go. All were good and the young woman working behind the bar was very nice.

Just order the j*** chicken dinner and savour the deliciousness. Curry potatoes didn't disappoint. Good, easy to get to location with street parking usually available. Friendly staff and quick service. Will definitely order again.
