Finally! Was able to do a walk in on a snowy afternoon. Got that window side table that I always gaze at when I pass by. I had the lamb burger with salad. The lamb pattie/burger itself was thick and juicy, the halloumi cheese with aioli lending it a delicious flavour. I asked for their hot sauce on the side. Opted for salad instead of fries. Service was friendly and timely. The place is cozy. Can't expect a lamb burger to be any cheaper but this place is a bit pricey. Btw - the owners have decided to retire after 2023. So it's only open till the end of the year.

This place gives a warm and cozy atmosphere. I love the breakfast opinions here. I got the waffles and I enjoyed the currants. I recommend getting the maple syrup on the side if you’re a crispy waffle lover like myself. The bacon is crispy and thick so it was good. Overall, I like service and if you want to treat yourself to breakfast you should try here.

Great dinner with family. Cozy, friendly, diner atmosphere. The server was very accommodating of my Vegan requirements to be able to eat. Overall a great visit and I would definitely recommend and return to them.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as pictured.Dietary restrictions: The server was very friendly and accommodating. They had a very open, friendly, and reassuring conversation. They weren't quite certain that the pita was Vegan, but they lead and said they would confirm that it was. Great experience. ? More options are always great, but being able to eat while at dinner is great. I didn't feel the need to pre-eat. All I may suggest is update the menu now that we know it's Vegan suitable further than being Vegetarian. The conversation was easy, but would take even more stress off.

Steak frittes - steak beautifully cooked but served on mushy vegetables- soup excellent. Wine selection poor- why no pinot grigio?? Atmosphere noisy but then it is a diner !!

Stopped in for an early dinner with friends. Tried the middle Eastern plate, so delicious and fresh! Service was friendly, cocktails were a tad expensive for what they were.

Great place with great service and a lovely, cozy atmosphere. We had a mixed plate of delicious dips including homemade hummus, eggplant and yogurt with fresh warm pita and crispy halloumi cheese. The shoestring fries are also very good. Portion size was excellent. All wine and beer selections are non-LCBO, which we loved. Gill was an exceptional server and a delight to be around. They allowed our pup to sit in the front patio and brought water (Sam says thank you!) Only drawback is the lack of vegetarian options. Love sharing this place with friends!

I have been many times to this neighbourhood restaurant for brunch, wish is friendly and comfortable with consistently good breakfast. I tried dinner for the first time, and was very disappointed. There was one server for the entire back patio, which unsurprisingly made the waits long, led to items being forgotten, and my personal pet peeve of soup and main course arriving at the same time. Most unfortunate, my selection - an interesting sounding Autumn Bowl with lamb and various cooked vegetables - arrived absolutely drowned in tahini, which I hate, and which was not listed among the ingredients for this dish on the menu. Because I was hungry, picked everything out of the tahini, whose tart taste and creamy texture ruined it all for me. When I mentioned my disappointment to the waiter, and suggested the menu should accurately reflect the actual contents of the dishes he said "oh yes, our Israeli chefs think there can never be enough hummus or tahini in a meal." So, should I expect to be surprised by those items on my pancakes one day? I thought if the customer service was exemplary I might find the item removed from my bill. It wasn't. My meal was ruined by the chef's personal fondness for something I hated, and which was not on the menu. Inquire if the chef is going to surprise you before confirming your order.

Went for brunch with high hope but got so disappointed.Wanted to order chicken & waffle from the menu in google but there’s no option on the paper menu there. Server said this is the same as ordering the buttermilk pancake with a side of fried chicken. However, when the food came, it’s not same. What’s more frustrating is that the pancake actually tastes way too sweet. While eating on the patio, there’re so many bees flying around and our juice is basically touched by the bee and not drinkable anymore. We asked the server to replace it but we got charged twice on the bill - this never happened in our past dining experience.

Enjoyed a leisurely brunch today on the back patio. There’s lots more room at the location than you’d think. The wasps had other ideas of our brunch and the staff kindly relocated us inside. Enjoyed the Shakshouka which came with lovely fresh bagel (wish there was some cream cheese) and a delicious French Toasts with fried bananas. It was a good size portion so took half home.
