Anyone who appreciates tiki will recognize how lucky they are to have access to a bar like this in Toronto.
I’ve seen some comments that the drinks are “too pricey” and have “too much ice”—clearly these reviewers don’t understand tiki cocktail culture. These cocktails can have 3+oz of alcohol per drink, and ample ice is needed for dilution. Also, tiki drinks have spice/syrup components that you won’t find in your average bar. Bearing all of this in mind, the pricing is very fair.
The food is very good—love the wings, coconut shrimp, and smash burgers.
The music and ambience are on point. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I love Shameful Tiki!

Drinks were fine, expensive, but the whole place smelt like vomit and old spilled drinks due to the carpet. Not the same vibe since they moved.

Reservations definitely recommended, for groups of two you may get seated upstairs in a shared seating setting with another group of two which was kind of awkward but not the worst.
Little bit on the louder side but drinks were fun and food surprising decent (but small portion sizes). Kimchi grilled cheese was probably the favourite food wise, crab rangoon was tasty but you only get 4 small pieces.

If you want a Hawaii vacation without the 12 hour flight come on down to the Shameful Tiki room!!!! The drinks are thoughtfully crafted, the decor and ambiance will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, and the staff will bring the good vibes (especially if you order a bowl) ✨thank you Gaby for your hospitality, you made sure we had a great time at the Shamefull Tiki Room

The atmosphere and vibe is too good and just like a tiki bar on tropical island. We had really too much fun as we were celebrating my friend’s birthday we were placed in a shack kind of set up. It is a little pricey and food is average and drinks are too expensive and mostly ice. We are asked to pay 25$ for cake cutting fee even we got the cake from outside but we didn’t know if they had policy as such from beginning but that’s alright. Again good place but food was alright and drinks were too less for the price.
Makes the best painkiller in the world. I literally can’t order them at other tiki bars anymore because they’re just not as good. Everytime I do I am let down. Also highly recommend the rum barrel!
However - they NEED to bring back the loaded fries! Only let down from the new location.

My friend and I visited Shameful three nights in a row last week as part of a trip designed to see the Blue Jays. We had an ABSOLUTE blast!!
Our bartender, Lisa, was extremely hospitable and very knowledgeable on all things tiki and rum! She made us feel extremely welcome while visiting from the USA!
If you get a chance to sit at the bar and converse with her while enjoying awesome tiki drinks, do it!!
Between drinks, atmosphere, staff, tiki decor and etc, Shameful is definitely a tiki bar you need to visit!
