The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer

My dietary concerns were met easily. Burger with Brie and mushrooms, no bun. Cooked to perfection and great with fries for a side. Lunch time service got us in and out. Chicken burger was great too.

I came in at around noon today, I'm not from the area , not very familiar with this area & had just left an ultrasound appointment and wanted to buy lunch , and noticed this place so I stopped in before the drive home. When I came in they were not busy, (only 1 table with customers seated)anyway, I went in said hello to the young lady at the front , WAS IGNORED, and started to walk straight for the bathroom, I had to drink a lot of water for my ultrasound and planned to stay for lunch afterwards. The same young lady standing at the bar shouts across the dining area " CAN I HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING!?" With a bit of a tone in her voice I stopped and walked back to the front and explained I was going to order lunch I just really need to use the bathroom, she said nothing in response. I used the bathroom, came up to order and was treated pretty dismissively, almost as if my questions about the different burgers annoyed & bothered her. She also didn't seem to know much about the food sold here herself. I ended up just ordering some fries and got them to go, it was awkward & uncomfortable. I got cold fries and a horrible experience for my first time here.. definitely will not be back and will look into other places I could grab lunch after my appointments that would actually appreciate my patronage & money. This young woman seriously lacks customer service skills, I work in customer service and would never think to behave the way she behaved today. It was mortifying.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Rodrigo who went above and beyond with his service today, despite his shift ending shortly after we sat down. Honestly, such a gem of a person. My mom and I both truly appreciate how sincere and genuine he is.

I walked in at 5:35pm today and stood at the entrance waiting and no one acknowledged me. One worker was talking to another and I just stood there. Then a server from the kitchen looks at me and yells from across the restaurant, "what's the uber number" and I point at myself you asking me? And the rude disrespectful worker who was talking to the pink shirt worker says of course who else? Then some people walk in an immediately all the works say hi welcome and start helping them right away. I have never been so disrespected blatantly in life. I thought about it a lot why everyone treated me like this and the only conclusion I've come to is they were racist towards me. All the workers were white all the people walked in who they were greeting so kindly were white. But when I walked in no one acknowledged me for 5 mins and the first response I get is being yelled from the kitchen and a sparky remark from another co worker

I would like to clarify that if you click on my profile and read my other reviews you'll never see a negative one because when I have a bad experience I usually brush it off because I'm like the person was having a bad day and I only post positive ones. However this is the first time in my life I've been treated with blatant disrespect to my face just because of my skin tone. I didn't choose to be born with this color, it just happens to be

Today is our 2nd time dining on this restaurant since we loved the food and service the first time. The food we ordered are really good but the service we got from Christine (not sure with the name, she has long, curly, coloured hair). (Edit) She is not that accommodating, it is not busy today as she was serving two tables only. We ask for water and she gave us just one glass which my husband and I shared.

I had heard about The Works, and I'm glad I finally had a chance to try it. Food, Atmosphere and Service were excellent. There is an extensive selection of crafted burgers and a great assortment of sides. They place a big pitcher of cold water on your table which is great. The onion rings are excellent! Our server, Sky, did a fabulous job of looking after us. She had great suggestions, and the food served was right on time and piping hot. Great work Sky! We'll be back again.

My wife was served raw chicken (not just a little pink, but actually raw inside). The waitress never apologized and seemed irritated that we brought it up. It was our first time going, and we are definitely not going back.

Creative burger toppings and names. Yummy milkshakes and craft beers presented attractively. Service fast and friendly. Unfortunately the great looking natural fries were served hard and cold, and the ‘Sexy Burger’ may have mistakenly had peanut butter instead of cream cheese.

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options clearly marked. No garden burger, only ‘impossible’ patty, which is too meat-like to appeal to all vegetarians, but the option is appreciated, thank you
