I had previously bought fresh and tasty brioche, but I got one this time wasn't fresh that had been brought from the backstore, and the taste and shape were different from what I had before.

Their cappuccino tastes like warm milk with no foam or coffee present. Service is very slow.
Upon arriving you feel welcome. Service was the only good thing in my experience today.
I got the sausage croissant. Not sure if the sausage was supposed to be raw but it was uncooked and cold, even after warming up the pastry for 3 minutes. I rarely leave food uneaten but couldn't finish it.
The plate pick up was at the back of the restaurant, and high on a counter. It was inaccessible to my stroller and I imagine to other mobility devices.
I also got a chocolate medallion. It was a very rich treat so it's good that it's small.
Wheelchair accessibility: Store is accessible but if there are people lining up, it will be a right squeeze between the counter and the table in front of it.
Picking up food when dining in isn't accessible. Accomodation should be requested.

French bakery run by French pastry chef should be more better than this, I can say one thing that the pastry chef didn't deserve his rating fairly but because the customer doesn't know how to rate the pastries properly.

I used to enjoy pastries from Thobors. It's been years since I've been in the area and the return was disappointing. I bought a piece of cake and opened it to eat, the raspberry was sad and wilted and patches of it was moldy. Can that still be safely sold and eaten in that state?
I go to many bakeries and usually they use the plumpest juiciest raspberries to top their cakes. The chef must have noticed the state of those raspberries or the cake has been sitting out for days. Either way it is icky. I was out to treat myself and now I'm sad I wasted money on this.

If you can't go to Paris for baguette and pastries then come here. Hands down the best baguette in the city and the most authentic French pastries around. Top notch!!

Today I got a small hot chocolate and raisin roll and asked is it french hot chocolate? He said yes, but it wasn’t, he sold some foam with milk and chocolate powder 😐 also raisin roll was made with vegetable oil because taste was really awful. I had gotten chocolate croissant in before but today their products were not as good as before.
I was pretty disappointed with my order today. The dessert I picked was dry and lacking in mango flavour. The pesto sandwich had two sad little tomato slices that both had the stem/core attached. Not sure I would return

I've been to thobors many times. The food is always great. My main issue is that they don't accept cash. I asked why they wouldn't accept legal tender and all I was told is that everyone has cards. Not sure why a business would turn down money in any form. Some people may ONLY Have cash. Do better!

Came here because I wanted to order a croquembouche for my wedding. The chef is incredibly rude; had me wait for 3 hours for her because I was 2 minutes late to our 8am appointment … who does that? Why not reschedule. I would never give this place my business.

This is one of our favorite French bakeries in the mid-town area. The staff are professional and the pastries especially the croissant are as close as the ones in Paris as you could get. They also have amazing breakfast sandwiches.

Everything looks delicious. We just purchased macaroons 2 hours ago. I got the pistacho one and took it home. It turned out to be the most stalest macoroon unfortunately. It is dissapointing they sell old products.
