Another fabulous vegan restaurant is about to bite the dust - Hello 123 is closing on Feb 18, 2024. The brunch is the best around. We'll especially miss the heated all-season patio. Thankfully, some of the menu items will still be available at sister restaurants Kupfert and Kim, but Hello 123 always had a classier vibe and greater selection. (BTW, I have no idea what the previous reviewer was talking about concerning irregular hours-they've always been open when we've gone. ) RIP, 123!
This place is unreliable. They don't honour their hours of operation so it's a gamble if you're going there. They are likely to be closed despite them stating otherwise. If you really want to try it- call first
I love their Tempe sandwich!! Amazon little spot in Toronto!
Hello gets a lot of mention in the Toronto vegan crowd, and it's a reliable place to get a meal and a drink. They offer raw, gluten- and soy-free options, which is also really helpful when you've got a group with complicated dietary restrictions. But I've never been wowed by their food. It's not bad, but it's also not memorable. You walk away full but unsatisfied. Their cocktails are also just okay. You can tell the bartender knows what they're doing, but the clientele and pace of the restaurant has them turning out really uninspired drinks. I'd recommend this as a reasonable brunch spot, the avocado toast is good (granted it's hard to f*ck up avocados and bread), they offer a watery mimosa, and their messy potatoes are also pretty good. Their raw benny is avoidable, it's a benny in name alone.
Got so lucky to have this place right down the street from our air bnb. We got the avocado toast and caesar salad and would definitely get both again. Probably the best cesar salad I've had and the tempeh was great. Updated from previous review on 2023-11-05
We came to Toronto for a week holiday and came here 3 times as it was nearby where we were staying and the food was great. The lasagne was the best lasagne I've ever had!
I visited multiple times and everything I've tried here has been delicious. If you go for brunch, Irene's massive breakfast is a meal and a half in itself and a great deal at $22. But most of all I have to commend the staff on their caring and professional attitude, andexcellent customer service. Thanks to both Liz and the Management for creating such a positive experience.
I gave this review a 4 star because the food was absolutely mouth watering delicious...but the atmosphere was very intense. The music was so loud we couldn't talk to eachother...which meant we could also overhear other convos as they had to yell at eachother ??♀️ Servers seemed nice-ish, also very loud and came across as that sort of fake friendly (as in trying to hard). Would highly recommend for food, but if your looking for a work spot, or are on a first date and would like to converse, would suggest going elsewhere.
The "massive breakfast" was amazing! Very good sized portion consisting of tofu scramble (probably my favourite tofu scramble) pancakes, salad, potatoes, tempeh and toast. Cheese burger was also excellent! Extremely friendly and engaging staff, highly recommend!
We had brunch at Hello123 and it was simply perfect! Delicious food and good service, we will definitely come back!

Stopped in for brunch and the food and smoothies were great. Service was a little slow as it seemed like they got a rush of people right as we got there. Overall impressed.
The menu is extensive and offers many healthy options including fresh salads and bowls. There are also vegan burgers too fun cocktails!
One of the most delicious meals I've had since becoming vegan.
Just tried this place given it came up on most if not all of the best veg places in town lists. Menu was pretty extensive (food and drink), though only three desserts which is a bit paltry (and one of them wasn't available). Prices were okay, pretty high for a few simple things and not seemingly commensurate with what you always get. Case in point: both the lasagna and the curry are quite massive, but lasagna takes way more effort and attention and they're only a dollar or two apart. And nearly 20 bucks for a tempeh sandwich?! The curry (which was what I had) was also pretty one dimensional...not exactly sweet, or savoury, or spicy, or a blend of the three; just...curry. The lasagna was much tastier. Stir fry and cheesecake looked great but didn't actually try them. Server was rather nice and let me try the curry before committing since I have an extremely low tolerance for chilli heat. White people: you will not be intolerant of this curry whatsoever!
Adorable little cafe with amazing food! I was never a fan of Eggs Benedict, but 123's Benny Benny was so intriguing that I just had to try it. It was incredible!! Beautiful vegan ricotta, gorgeous lemony hollandaise sauce, perfect roasted potatoes, and a lovely green salad. A hit from start to finish! Also…don't miss their Turmeric Latte!
