Felt that our server was super busy. Not sure if we were supposed to get water, but we didnt't. The bar was out of key ingredients for cocktails on the list. Cranberry and lemonade!! Food was pretty good, felt the fries were over cooked - very hard. Salad was delicious

Although the food was pretty standard for a Firkin, the service was underwhelming. It seem to take forever for our food to arrive. We had to flag down the waitress to find out when it was coming. We also had to flag the waitress down to get her to bring the bills. She really didn't check in with us much.

I had to cancel my food order because it was going to take 40min to get food and we had to make it to a show at 8! The server told us it was taking longer than usual for food to be prepared .. terrible!

Unfortunately service was extremely slow for some reason; server said they were very busy but there were lots of empty tables! Took over 20 minutes for water and pop to arrive. When food finally came all 5 of our orders were cold. We requested fresh french fries as the ones served were inedible. We struggled thru other parts of the meal as we had a show to get to and could not spend more time waiting. Very disappointing as we have been to many Firkin pubs and enjoyed them. We will not be returning to this one!

First, I'll say the beer was cold and my wife enjoyed her burger and wine. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Club. It was on 2 large pieces of bread, and cut in half. I ate the first half which didn't seem to have much chicken. Before eating the second half, I open the sandwich and saw there was a small piece of chicken sitting on a lone piece of tomato. The chicken was not much bigger than a toonie and covered less than a 1/4 of the bread. Our waitress was walking by and asked if everything is OK. I asked if there is a chicken shortage in the kitchen. She said she will let the kitchen know and walked away. That was the end of it. I ate the rest of my pesto and lettuce sandwich and the fries. We never did receive cutlery, so we ate the fries with our fingers, which wasn't a big deal. Very disappointed with my meal. I've eaten here before and it was good, but probably won't return.

Our waitress was lovely!! Had such a fun evening here at Firkin on Yonge - the cocktails she made for me and my boyfriend were super sweet and tasty! The schnitzel was good but the green beans were a tad undercooked, overall would recommend for a fun bar experience!!

Since I was alone for the first 30 min I was fully ignored. I managed to finally order a coke and a soft pretzels appy. The coke even took like 10 minutes to get to me, and had a very soapy taste. Not good. The value of the pretzels is 0, they cost 15 and you get two basic pretzels. Should be like $7 at most. That also took a long time to bring them out. I then immediately ordered my entree and it wasn't fancy, I asked for chicken fingers I figured that wouldn't take too too long and I'd have time to eat before the show we were seeing. I told this to the waitress as it was getting later and later and no food. Finally a hour after ordering it I was told it'll be a few more minutes but at that time I was going to be late for the show. The waitress offered to cancel the order which means it never actually got ordered the whole time. We paid for the few subpar drinks and pretzels and left hungry. Do not visit this establishment if you value your time or money.

Stuck in traffic, delayed finding parking. We were thrilled that the pub was understanding. Also managed to get our order to us in plenty of time to make the show. Kudos to the server!

It was great! Service was a little slow but we weren't in a crazy rush, so it wasn't a huge deal. Food, atmosphere and drinks were great. Awesome spot to go if you have tickets for Massey Hall!

We went there for dinner before a show. The food was ok and reliable. The servers were super busy Overall I would go back but keeping in mind it's a pub with lots of beer choices and ok food

It was pretty empty for a Friday evening. Plates are priced high considering quality and for how empty it was service was unattentive. I had to ask to have my server sent over after sitting with our empty plates for 15 min.

We stopped in for a couple of appies and drinks before a show. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming. Our server, Mathew, was a star!! Such a nice young man. He moved to Toronto recently from The Isle of Man. Welcome to Toronto Mathew :) Food was great, good value for our money and they had us well fed and watered and out the door in plenty of time for the show.

When the space is full and lots of good conversations are happening, why is it necessary to have the music cranked up? We go out to enjoy talking to our friends. Not at this venue. Won't be back. Too bad because everything else was good.

- Food was good but some feedback that may be helpful for future. - No cutlery when the food arrived. Server then brought 3 - there were 4 of us - Ketchup bottle that was placed on the table was empty. Had to get up and ask another server for a bottle..she identified she had to go upstairs to get one - other than taking our order and giving us the bill, server made no attempt to come back to our table. Realize it was a busy night, but its part of a server's responsibility Feedback - why not have cutlery already at the table. 4 seats...4 sets of cutlery...if only 3 people set, take one away when seating patrons - fill up ketchup bottles on the down time...don't give a patron an empty bottle of ketchup!

To: Manager at Firkin on Yonge I just wanted to let you know that I had reservations last evening for 5:45pm. We arrived on time and were greeted by a friendly employee and were promptly seated. That is where the positive experience ended. We were seated in a booth at the back of the restaurant just under a speaker which played loud music and it was hard to have a conversation. Our dinner experience went downhill from there. We ordered drinks and dinner at the same time as the service was slow. We waited 30-40 minutes at least for our dinner . We asked for cutlery as we didn't receive any with our meal. 2 sets of cutlery were brought for 3 people. We asked for another set to which the server replied "we are short on cutlery". We did however receive a 3rd set. The dinner arrived cold. The server then offered to "heat it up for us" which we declined or make us something else which we did also declined as we had tickets for a show and did not have time to wait for another dinner to be prepared. She brought a salad for my friend. We left your restaurant hungry and disappointed. I just thought you should know about our experience.
