Great service in an intimate, vintage 50s diner setting. The dry ribs (a bit spicy) are perhaps some of the best in town. Sundays you can bring your own bottle, as a bonus no corkage fee!
Unpretentious comfort-food and quiet vibes at this neighbourhood diner. Friendly wait staff make you feel at home and it's a great place to grab a glass of wine at the bar if you're not feeling hungry. Sunday evenings can be busy but you can often find a table for two without much of a wait.
Classic 50s diner with amazing food and amazing service. Highly recommend to stop by for brunch, kick back and enjoy the atmosphere and a brew.
Quaint atmosphere. Amazing food. Diner ambiance. Highly recommend for brunch!
One of the best brunch places in the city. Expect line ups. Try their in house made hot sauce. The best!
This restaurant is consistently superb and usually packed when it is open, so that is another indication of how great the cook is at this restaurant. The service at this restaurant is good most of the time.
The one star reviews of this place tell it all, there is a pattern of literally the worst service I have seen in my life and I am obviously not the first to experience it. Â
Only went once so I can only give feedback from the one visit, breakfast food was delicious and portions were generous, the manager was very kind and down to earth, her children were there to help her and it was adorable. Will be visiting more frequently, seems to always be full of customers, which is always a good sign for restaurants.
The food is good, however service is lacking. Getting the bill took more than needed. Our group asked for the bill of two people in the party as they needed to head out, we had to follow up 20 min after asking for the bill. When the bill finally came, we were informed that they dont split bill so they gave us the bill for the table. Considering people had to leave on a rush and it is a business policy not to split the bill, it would had been helpful to get that information when we asked for the split bill the first time, since there was no need for the couple to wait back.
Great independent local restaurant with great kitchen and menu. Definitely a place to try if you're nearby.

Places like this are a reminder not to take good service for granted. The service was really poor. The food was average at best. Two orders of pancakes. They managed to bungle that by not providing maple syrup and only a half-ramekin of jam/compote. Stopped someone to ask for coffee refills and never got them, not asked how the meals were so unable to asked for syrup (probably should not need to asked when you get pancakes). We were there for about an hour in total. I won't be back.
Went for brunch. Food took 1 hour and was cold. 2 orders were wrong. Service super slow and inattentive. Mentioned about slow service and server was not apologetic and claimed they are a small restaurant and only have one person in kitchen.
I had the best grilled cheese I have ever eaten.
My favourite brunch restaurant in Toronto!
Definitely a hidden gem in the middle of the community. Came here as a group of four plus an infant. The food was excellent. Ribs were well cooked and delicious, the lamb was flavourful although a tad on the dry side, and the burger, as safe of an order as that may be, was cooked flawlessly.
