The food here is amazing, I had the pleasure of having an event at this restaurant. They accommodated my family over and beyond expectations. The owners are absolute sweet hearts. Sophia has such a gold heart; stayed up late organizing our family function. The staff were so kind and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful. I cant say how much I adored my experience here and Will be coming back to visit. The food was soooo good. Chicken juicy, deserts were delicious. Salads were so light and filling. It honestly a really happy time for my family. Amazing food and customer service, You cant go wrong.

I had an incredible experience at Vagueira! From the moment I walked in, I genuinely felt like I’d been transported straight to Portugal.
We started with the clams, which were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect beginning to the meal. For our mains, we had the BBQ chicken dinner and the robalo fish—both were absolutely fantastic. The chicken was tender with amazing flavor, and the robalo was cooked perfectly, light and delicious.
A huge shoutout to Sofia, our waitress. She was warm, attentive, and truly elevated the entire experience. Her service, combined with the authentic Portuguese flavors, made the night unforgettable.
Highly recommended—can’t wait to come back!

Very dissapointing experience. Coming back from Madeira I wanted to go to a Portuguese restaurant. This one had 4.8 and and excellent menu and reviews online. The first suprise: the menu in the restaurant was completely different: no polvo, no goat, no tripe nor the pork dishes. The food ordered was complete tasteless. My wife enjoyed somehow her dorada grill. Calamari were awful. Oven lamb: these were some meaty bones for soup, overdone and tasteless. The place is clean, full of Portuguese people and the service is nice. I have to apologize for my review but the food was very dissapointing.
Vagueira is hands-down our favorite restaurant and our go-to every time! The food is absolutely delicious! Simple, authentic, full of flavor, and the prices are more than fair. It’s family-run, and you can taste the love in every dish. We’ve tried plenty of Portuguese restaurants across the GTA, but honestly, nothing even comes close to this place. Juliana is amazing! So warm, friendly, and her service makes you feel right at home. If you’re looking for the best Portuguese food around, this is it!

We did our daughter's baptism here and while I recommend this place because of the amazing and delicious food. I would tell anyone that Sofia and her team go above, beyond and even the extra mile. They made everything run smoothly and I felt instantly at ease. Sofia accommodated all of our needs and so much more. Everyone left full and satisfied! There are not enough words to say how much my husband and I loved the service that this family and their team provided us. Thank you so much for making our daughter's day so special !!
