New find for me. Great Portuguese food. Large portions at very reasonable prices. So far both times have been a 5⭐️ experience. Going back soon to try the Polvo a Lagareiro.

Very dissapointing experience. Coming back from Madeira I wanted to go to a Portuguese restaurant. This one had 4.8 and and excellent menu and reviews online. The first suprise: the menu in the restaurant was completely different: no polvo, no goat, no tripe nor the pork dishes. The food ordered was complete tasteless. My wife enjoyed somehow her dorada grill. Calamari were awful. Oven lamb: these were some meaty bones for soup, overdone and tasteless. The place is clean, full of Portuguese people and the service is nice. I have to apologize for my review but the food was very dissapointing.

Vagueira is hands-down our favorite restaurant and our go-to every time! The food is absolutely delicious! Simple, authentic, full of flavor, and the prices are more than fair. It’s family-run, and you can taste the love in every dish. We’ve tried plenty of Portuguese restaurants across the GTA, but honestly, nothing even comes close to this place. Juliana is amazing! So warm, friendly, and her service makes you feel right at home. If you’re looking for the best Portuguese food around, this is it!

We did our daughter's baptism here and while I recommend this place because of the amazing and delicious food. I would tell anyone that Sofia and her team go above, beyond and even the extra mile. They made everything run smoothly and I felt instantly at ease. Sofia accommodated all of our needs and so much more. Everyone left full and satisfied! There are not enough words to say how much my husband and I loved the service that this family and their team provided us. Thank you so much for making our daughter's day so special !!

I picked up an order from Vagueira through too good to go. It was a braised beef with rice and potatoes. The food is very delicious and served hot and ready to eat. The portion size is very generous. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly Isaac. This is definitely a family owned and operated businesses. They take pride in their culture and the service they provide to their customers. Shout-out to Sofia who went above and beyond including providing a Tide pen to clean a shirt stain. Lovely young lady
