Thank God this little restaurant was on Summerlicious 2025. We went for lunch today. It was good very good. We has the beet salad, Caesar salad, seafood linguini, creme bruleè and tiramisu. Server was great.

I went to Valens Restaurant with my colleagues and we all enjoyed the food. The portions were generous, the flavors fresh, and everything tasted delicious.

I'm impressed with their liver dish. Perfectly cooked to medium rare, I thought it would be a heavy dish, but the sauce and the vegetables perfectly balanced the protein. If you like liver, this is a must try. If you want to order their salmon bennedic, be aware the salmon is cooked. So for people who likes raw salmon bennedic this may not be the dish for you. I also really enjoyed their tiramisu, the perfect ending after a meal.

First time to this establishment. We chose the pre-fixe menu with a bottle of wine. The wife had a Cesar salad, salmond, and taramisu. I had the soup of the day, lamb shank, and tarttufo. The food was very good, and the service excellent. Quaint restaurant, enjoyed our night out.

I had a peaceful dinner on their patio and it was a great experience. Server was so polite and friendly and atmosphere was lovely. I had the grilled calamari , red house wine and tiramisu. Everything was delicious, especially the sauce the calamari was made with. It felt like I was away from the city for a little bit. I would definitely go back!

A tight spot for lunch, fills up quickly and can be quite loud. The food was good (winterlicious) but not out of this world.

The food here is delicious. Each of us ordered a pasta dish. My 8 year old daughter almost finished a whole pasta dish on her own.

My wife ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and it appears they make it fresh. She enjoyed it as it wasn’t too sweet.

The restaurant accepts American Express so that is nice.

We may come back if we’re in the neighbourhood and feeling like pasta again.

Frankly, simply an exceptional kitchen with superb pasta and equally outstanding home-made Tiramisu. Stands out on a street dedicated to Japanese and Chinese restaurants - although modest interior, that pales when the food takes over. And, congratulations on a perfect wine list - pairs ideally with the food. Rapid and thoughtful service.

The food was really good! Every dish was full of flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The portions were just right, and the presentation added a nice touch. Definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a satisfying meal!

Good is great, but they lack cohesiveness. The protein does not match the gravy or sauce. There is quality and great pricing but it could be better.

We had a team lunch here with a group of 8. Overall the food was good, but the service was poor and everything was extremely slow. The waiter was nice but first he missed placing one soup, then he missed another main dish. We had to remind him for more than 5 times for the dish. We felt very bad for that colleague as this was her farewell lunch. She had to watch us eating until everyone finished.
The waiter said he would not charge us for that dish. However, when we were paying the bill, they first charged all items and some even with dinner prices (with higher prices). Not sure if they were doing this on purpose, but luckily we checked the bill. When I talked to an elder guy (cashier?), he said the waiter made the mistake of missing items, we can’t give that dish free. The attitude was really bad, and acted the waiter had nothing to do with the restaurant. This is ridiculous.
My colleague also said she can see people arguing in the kitchen all the time. Another colleague said the restaurant staff are totally different compared to pre-pandemic time. Probably the restaurant has changed owner.
This was really a terrible experience. We will not visit this restaurant ever again.
