Delicious vegan Caribbean food in the heart of Kensington Market. Veggie D'light hits the spot for lunch on a weekend. I had their meal with jerk saitan, veggies and basmati/quinoa. I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. Now I have a new favorite lunch spot.
We really enjoyed our experience at Veggie D’light.
I called ahead since we were coming from Oshawa and the woman on the phone was very friendly and helpful. We then travelled to one of our favourite places Kensington Market to this restaurant. They were welcoming and offered us a taste of the soup since we had travelled so far. It was delicious. We placed our order and ordered enough for dinner the next day too!
