I ordered the beef and lamb shawarma and was quite disappointed. The meat was overcooked, dry, and cut into very small chewy pieces. It lacked flavour and seasoning, and the portion of meat was much smaller than what I’ve had at other shawarma places. I’ve tried shawarma from countless spots and unfortunately, this one didn’t come close. I personally wouldn’t return or recommend it, as I believe there are much better options out there.

I got a chicken shawarma and it was delicious and very fulfilling! It was packed with chicken, had just the right amount of vegetables and sauce, and the wrap held together perfectly. The only thing I wish is that it had spice or stronger seasoning, but overall, it was a great meal.

I ordered 4 beef and lamb shawarmas, but it was very disappointing. The meat was dry and crumbly more like ground meat than proper shawarma and there were barely any meat and vegetables inside. Instead of putting the grilled and juicy meat directly into the bread, they grill it again, chop it into tiny bits, and dry it out. By the time it’s served, it tastes like hard, dry meat crumbs.
Don’t trust their TikTok ads they’re misleading. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I tried the beef and lamb shawarma at Wanas, and I have to be honest, it was probably the worst shawarma I’ve ever had.
The meat was dry, crumbly, and had a bitter, burnt taste. It was minced down so finely that it almost felt like someone had pre-chewed it before stuffing it into the wrap. There was barely any actual meat, and what little there was had a strange, unpleasant texture. The vegetables were minimal, and shockingly, there was no noticeable sauce, making the whole thing painfully dry and hard to get through.
To make matters worse, the photos and advertising are completely misleading. What I received looked nothing like what was shown, and certainly didn’t taste like it either.
Shawarma is one of those foods that’s hard to mess up but somehow, Wanas managed to do just that 🤷♂️ 😢

Their Chicken Shawarma (Salad Mix) was exactly the type of Shawarma I was looking and they delivered it perfectly! I also learned that the original Syrian Shawarma's mix is different and they serve that most authentic version here too!😍

Had dinner at this shawarma place last night, and it honestly took me right back to the flavors of Syrian shawarma back home. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the garlic sauce was on point, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. On top of that, the service was excellent—Nawras and Tarik were both super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
