The best shawarma in the city. Let me tell you why…everything is balanced. It’s zesty, fresh, not over the top spiced, just the right amount, the chicken is juicy and because it’s in a wrap it doesn’t feel like a carb load. Get the salad mix wrap, chicken , spicy, no pomegranate sauce
It was National Shawarma Day, October 15, 2025 and Wanas Shawarma was my absolute favourite of three shawarma places we went to for $5 deals! I was also happy to be first in line and got two chicken shawarma Syrian style wraps. It was so delicious! I love the square saag bread and the pomegranate sauce which makes the juicy chicken taste even better! It’s authentic Syrian style and I love it!

All I can say is if you know your Shawarma, and you lived in the city for over 20 years trying Shawarma all over the GTA… You can put some respect on this 4.8 star rating, these guys really know what they’re doing and get the perfect ingredients and ratios right with their Shawarma. Top three in the city easily.
