During an adventure to find some good eats with my friend Lief, we ended up at Wang Lang on King Street, right next to The Wheat Sheaf Tavern (love that place).

It's a cool place, with much more to offer than meets the eye. The interior is spacious and has a great atmosphere. It's definitely worth visiting on a busy Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. I had the pad Thai, which is always one of my go-to dishes, especially at a Thai restaurant. It didn't...

The best Thai restaurant in the city, though their signature dish is Boat Noodles, I’ve had about half of their menu and haven’t been disappointed with anything. Each dish is so full of flavour, with my favourites being the Lemongrass salad, Pomelo salad, and their Khao Soi. The fried baby shrimp and Green Curry are also phenomenal.

Really liked the pork jowl dish with the sweet and spicy sauce on top. The fried baby shrimp looked like a much bigger portion in pictures online than it came in real life (like a cup size). Pad thai was good but a small portion - would say it was 2/3 the size of Pai’s. Service was hard to get, maybe because there was only one server on a sunday during lunch.
