Got the jerk chicken, it was underwhelming, lacking in flavour, too much rice. Customer service was great though, very friendly.

They need to update their hours. On the google listing it says 9pm but they actually closed at 8pm. It was a big inconvenience for me.

Worse food ever. So unsatisfied. Spent $26 on jerk chicken + goat curry and drink. Jerk chicken has no jerk taste- it was cold and just tasteless barbecue chicken. Goat curry was all bones and potatoes- very little meat and also tasteless.

I’m surprised this is a resto that has other locations. It’s garbage fake carribean food.

Ordered takeout and everything was so good! Large portions and reasonable pricing. Minus one star because the spicy jerk chicken wasn’t that spicy for us but the seasoning was yum.

I was visiting Toronto for a few days and REALLY wanted some Jamaica food. Contrary to what's on their Google page, the food-court branch at 200 Front street is NOT open on weekends. I wasted my time going there then wasted another 1+ hour trying to find this location.

As for the food, its nothing to write home about. They were out of oxtail, and the curry was more brown than yellow. Even though Indians call everything "curry", neither Jamaicans or Indians would classify what this restaurant have as "curry". Since I wasn't going to eat that "curry", I was left stuck with jerk chicken and rice & peas. The taste wasn't exceptional, but its wasn't horrible either, just so-so.

Why is it so salty??? The ox tail is really rich and tender, but the saltiness ruins it, and note that this the first time I deemed a dish too salty this year. Even when combining the ox tail with rice, it's either you get too much rice that you can longer taste the spices, or it's too salty. It's really a shame cus the spices are really on point. But, coleslaw is good, love your coleslaw 😃

Guy is nice, and plave is really small, but I think most people do take outs anyways.

I order 3 portions of the $5 plantains and this is what I got, 6 stale cold tiny pieces of plantains. Horrible restaurant and food. Never again.

Not only was the cashier not paying attention, charged me for stuff I didn't want, proceeded to put together a completely different meal than what she charged me for, but the food is subpar. One of the worst patties I've ever had. No pepper sauce, coleslaw is drenched in sugar, a sad attempt at Caribbean food.
Should have known better than trying to get Caribbean food in downtown Toronto. Give this place a miss. Not worth the money or the calories.

I must have eaten at another restaurant with some of these reviews.

The "Jerk," Chicken, if you want to call it that is bland at best, literally no taste, no seasoning, barely any heat whatsoever. And to top it off, it was cold.

My first time to try Jamaican food, I tried the oxtail and chicken, I loved everything and will definitely be back. Shout out to Mohamed the manager.

Phenomenal food. Tight space shared by another takeout spot but definitely worth it.

Very solid portion! The quality of meat was really good and there was a lot of meat on the bone! Good service, clean, and a few seats to sit.
