There were only 3 tables during lunch but I ended up waiting 40 minutes for a three item takeout order. Not worth the wait, take your businesses to literally any other restaurant in the area and you'll have your order in under 20 minutes.

Food was just ok. Most of the food lacked flavor, the best item was the rice noodle roll on the sizzling plate.

Visited this place for the first time and was very disappointed in the management service. My first 2 dishes came out in a timely manner but the last two dishes came out nearly 20 minutes after the first. I was not informed of the wait time on the dishes. By the time my last two dishes came out I was already too full from the first 3. I asked to cancel the last dish but was denied by the management.

I too work in the restaurant industry. And you should always inform your guest if any particular item takes longer. I tried to cancel the dish before it was finished cooking. I was not informed that it would take much longer than the other dishes I ordered. Thus the manager said they couldn’t cancel just because “they couldn’t resell”

It’s not my fault that you didn’t inform me of the long cook time, and I should be able to cancel something that hadn’t fully been finished.

It is an industry standard for any reputable restaurant that cares about their guests and customer service to accommodate to their needs.

Had I known that the dish would take so long, I wouldn’t have ordered so much knowing there would be so much of a time gap between the dishes.

The Dim Sum at Wok Theory was okay :/

The Chiu Chow Style Dumplings with Chicken & Nuts were good and delicious.

The Five Spice Fried Squid Tentacles were okay. The tentacles weren’t as crispy as we expected.

The Pork Soup Dumplings were okay.

The Curry Cuttlefish was good and flavourful.

The Shrimp Rice Rolls with the sweet soy sauce were good and delicious.

This is an intimate but very good Chinese restaurant. They have private rooms for family or business gatherings. Great ala carte and live seafood choices.

Best place for dim sum in downtown Toronto. I ordered the mushroom and pumpkin dumplings, the vegetarian bean curd rolls, the plain rice rolls and the salted egg yolk balls. They were all excellent except for the rice rolls, which were a bit plain (probably my fault for ordering the plain rolls).

All in all - a great experience!

I went because I was craving soup dumplings , but I was shocked.
The soup dumplings had no soup at all. The photos made them look plump, but why were ours all dried out?
It was the worst soup dumplings I’ve ever had in my life.
The other dishes were fine though.

Very average dim sum - some dishes were alright but some were not good at all. We liked the bbq pork buns, siu mai, and cheung fun. However the fried five-spice squid tasted like it did not even have a single spice, and was very soggy and greasy. Other dim sum items we tried were also very mid. Downtown has much better dim sum places than here so wouldn't come back at all.

Very average dim sum, definitely better places in Toronto. Siu Mai, Cheung fun, baked bbq pork buns, tripe, and soup dumplings were ok but I’ve had way better versions in Markham. The squid tentacles were awful, batter was falling off and it was greasy and soft.

I wouldn’t come back here again.

The food portion shrinks significantly comparing to they just opened. This thin layer of assorted seafood costs $29, what a joke!
