Went there for lunch. The beef stick was unflavoured and meat was so tough we were not able to eat it. The chicken stick was very bland. The salad and tzatziki were good. I would never recommend this restaurant or ever go back.

My group of friends enjoyed a hearty dinner at Yaya Greek restaurant. The home made humus was excellent and everyone was impressed with the Calimari. Real Greek cuisine, great portion size and friendly owners.

My wife and I went there before an event at a nearby brewery. We both had a chicken gyro sandwich. The chicken was absolutely lovely. Probably the most flavourful gyro I've had before. The chicken was appropriately crispy without being dried up. The pita was soft and loaded. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely go back there when we are in the area again.

The best Greek restaurant in town! When i live in Turkey, i always visiting Greek islands and Athens. Now, I'm living in Toronto. I'm missing greek food, so Yaya Greek Bistro is really good and healthy option for me. We visited last week for my birthday. Everything was so delicious. Definitely, we will come back! Thank you.

The food was amazing, and the owners were so nice and friendly, going above and beyond with every aspect of service.
I had the beef skewer, which was phenomenal, my fiance had chicken skewers, and our friend had a pita sandwich, which they also said were great.
We will be back!

Finally was able to try this place and it did not disappoint. The mixed dips were house made and fantastic. The food overall was fresh and delicious. Portions were quite generous and the tzatziki (also house made) was out of this world! I had the lamb chop dinner and although I eat my lamb chops medium rare they cooked them through but it was still so good and so flavorful. Great seasoning. Our server was delightful, friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.

Was here once and once is enough. Not sure what the hype is all about.

First - service - very awkward interaction - asked for recommendations - didn’t feel welcome at all. The lady was standing over the bar staring at us almost all the time we were eating - felt very uncomfortable.

Then - atmosphere - the music was too loud and not the right vibe - very national, very loud. I guess I am picky but I am selective at everything.

Then - food. Meat was 4 at best - very chewy. Fish was 4.5. Someone was hyping the eggplant πŸ† salad in comments - I regret I listened. We love eggplants - that thing that was served we took 1 bite each - money wasted. Salty overseasoned potatoes πŸ₯” my experience aligns with some comments I read here.

Lastly price - even if avg food score was 4, and I can tolerate mediocre atmosphere and service for tasty meal - this was far from delicious. For 115$ and this quality I am questioning not just this restaurant - but all restaurants as a concept.

Sorry Yaya team. Wish you the best. Hope you can do better.

Not welcoming at all!
Only person in the place and no acknowledgement. Given my tastlesll gyro and had to ask for bill when done because server was busy on his phone. Over priced for what you get not worth it sorry.

The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, and you’re treated less like a customer and more like a guest in someone’s home. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely proud of the food they serve. Every dish was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The grilled meats were perfectly seasoned, the tzatziki was rich and creamy, and the portions were generous without sacrificing quality. You can taste the tradition in every bite, and the homemade desserts were the perfect way to end the meal. If you’re looking for real Greek food made with heart, this is the place. Supporting family businesses like this makes the experience even more special, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I've been to yayaz a couple of times at first. It was spectacular, I'm not sure what happened. The last 2 times and has nothing that great to night was actually disgraceful. I almost spent on $100 on takeout meal for one chicken skewer dinner. And one pork skewer dinner, the skewer the pork was fatty. The chicken was dry, the salad was small. The potatoes were less than exciting. I asked for extra taziki, I got four itty bitty, tiny little bit of taziki, literary nordics, not impressed, i'm was yaz, i'm very sorry, because i'm the one that's been saying, this is the best place ever
