I’ve been a big fan of yunshang rice noodle from when I first stumbled upon it a few years ago (2023). I come here a few times a month and I find that the food is always fresh, delicious, clean and cost effective. The rice noodles are also unlimited so if you’re still hungry you can always ask for another bowl (or two) of noodles. I get the tomato, beef and enoki mushroom noodle soup as my regular order, and I highly recommend it. The staff are also very efficient and the owner/manager is extremely hospitable and friendly.

I come here with my partner at least once a week, and we are never disappointed. You cannot find a sit down meal for under $15 these days. The quality, atmosphere, and taste are all fantastic. Owner is super nice and often makes charitable donations.

Braised beef with hand pulled noodles is the go-to order. Very tasty. Generous portion.

Signature Braised Beef Rice Noodles were very good. I was less enthusiastic about the Braised Chicken with Bone in. Sichuan Style spicy crispy fried Pork Ribs and deep fried Pumpkin Pancakes were great compliments to the meal.

One of my favorite spots for rice noodles in town!

The Smoked Sausage & Braised Pork Intestine Rice Noodle Soup with red konjac is super rich and satisfying.

I also love their Green Peppercorn Rice Noodle Soup – it has that perfect numbing spice kick. And honestly, all of their cold appetizers are consistently delicious.

This time I found the Pickled Chili Chicken Offal Noodles at the Downtown location – apparently a limited-time special that’s already sold out in other stores!

Great value, great taste – highly recommend Yunshang to anyone craving comfort food with bold flavors!

The best hidden gem in Chinatown. We come here almost every week for their noodle soup. Tasty, clean broth with generous components (unlimited noodle refills), and super affordable. Their side dishes are also delicious. They also have a membership program where you pay one time but get discounts every time you come and points for every dollar spent. The owners are super friendly and attentive to details.

My go-to spot for rice noodles. Noodles come served piping hot, broth is flavourful and very fairly priced for what it is. Tried their red chili tofu shred - super flavourful and spicier than expected, paired well with the original noodles. Seating was comfy and spacious, friendly staff.

Great spot for a casual meal or if you’re craving a hot bowl of noodle soup.

So guess I'm not the only one finding insects in my food huh? In my case it was a fly.

Always a great experience at YunShang, but this time I have to give a special shoutout to their Red Chili Tofu Strips. Absolutely amazing! The tofu is perfectly tender with a nice bite, and the chili oil is rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of spicy. It’s flavorful without being overpowering, and every bite is addictive. You can really taste the care put into it—definitely a must-order dish every time I come. Highly recommended!
