Was excited to try it seeing the rating was so high. We were party of 6 and were willing to wait. They agreed to accommodate us outside because we had our dog. And while we were waiting the server randomly came out and told us it’s a minimum spend of $35 per person on the weekend, which to us seemed like a lot of food. Nowhere on their website nor their store front says this. Seemed pretty weird, there were other tables that had >6 people too and everyone else didn’t have a huge amount of food.

The food was good, the service was not. Though the restaurant was almost empty, the service was Very slow. There were 3 waitresses working but very difficult to get their attention. There was a time I needed to ask for something in the menu and when one of them finally looked at me I raised my hand so she knew I wanted to talk to her, and instead of coming to me she asked me (from where she was) what did I want and I had to tell her to come to my table that I did not want to yell. So not very professional.

Service is super friendly and it is nice inside. I found the food to be a bit bland. Not terrible at all just lacking some flavor, perhaps other dishes are different. I got the beef kebah plate and chicken chickpeas soup. Pretty busy inside so I'd recommend booking a reservation.

Had a lovely meal on a Friday evening here. Sat outside on the patio with our dog. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing! Would 100% recommend, such an amazing restaurant.

Great food. Great staff. The outdoor area could use an update especially as it faces on a street that's part of an intersection, that gets busy with cars and can be loud. The seating outside isn't comfortable but the food keeps me coming back.

What's the point of making a reservation if you have to come and wait for your table.....especially when you can see the table is empty and ready but you are still not seated there. Had to flag down server to get water Waited a long time for the bill Gave us the smallest container for our food - which was not large enough so had to ask for another container - and for plastic bag separately I love your food but you service is always hit or miss

Amazing food especially the tapas items. The Syrian tea whiskey cocktail is breathtaking in both presentation at the table and smoky taste. Have had multiple business dinners and my guests loved finding about this hidden jewel at Y&E.
