This place fell off. Way too expensive for what you get and the male server today was not helpful at all and on his phone everytime we tried to get his attention.

Ramen was pretty salty today and we didn't even get forks, plates or chopsticks until we specifically asked for them after the food arrived. Have had other Ajisen locations which were good, this was disappointing

Food is pretty pricy considering the portion size you get (they really skimp on the meat, even when you pay extra for it) …food is okay but not exceptional, for the price I paid, portion size and taste was pretty disappointing. Also could not find a parking spot it was too busy. Wouldn’t go a second time…

Biggest issue is portion size. Paying for extra noodles is literally 1 bite... I'm not exaggerating. If you get 2 extra orders of noodles, it brings the bowl of noodles to over $20.... and still not full.

You need to seriously consider fixing this if you want to attract more customers and have more regulars.

I remember watching an interview with the owner of izakaya ju years ago and he said "I keep my prices low so customers can come everyday and won't feel like it's a special occasion"

If you're paying 25 bucks for a bowl of ramen... feels like a luxury compared to other options.

I'm good if you want to charge more... but make sure you actually feed me.

The food is delicious but the service has been very hit or miss and is pretty consistently poor. But otherwise great.

Use to go here a lot but went today and the portions were SO small. I use to be full eating it or unable to finish, but me and my family were left hungry afterwards. Prices have increased but the potions size has decreased. I wouldn't go there again

It’s was fine, just fine.
Service was chaotic, mains were served before appetizers, no structure to anything.
Vegan and karaage bao were ok, just sort of baseline standard, nothing to write home about
Black Garlic Karaage ramen just tasted like regular ol ramen, pretty underwhelming. I love black garlic and came specifically for this, but I left disappointed.
Vegan loaded bowl was 75% rice, 15% beyond meat, 8% corn and 2% leafy greens. There were no veggies to speak of. Hardly considered “loaded”.
Overall, there are better options for your ramen fix

The place is a bit drab, dark and outdated, but that's not what you nor I are at Ajisen Ramen for right?

Their fresh and hot ramen noodles are always a great way to satisfy a hungry stomach. My absolute favourite dish is the Ajisen Ramen with Black Garlic. So delicious and savory, I almost always drink nearly all the broth lol 😋

The service is good and they were nice enough to offer some fresh spring rolls on the house when they were experiencing issues with their kitchen.

Took a while to get our order because there was only 1 person working but other than that no major complaints. Food came out quick and was delicious. Our water was filled without us asking so that was good. Lighting is kind of dim.

Came in with the family for dinner today. Everything was fine until we used the chilly flakes for the food. A living worm came out from it. We showed it to the server and asked for our food to be replaced. Everything would be fine as they replaced my noodle bow. They brought another bow out with the half egg clearly from my prior bow since it still had my bite mark on it. So disgusting!!! We paid for the rest of the food except for that ramen and left right there. Never gonna set food against to this restaurant. The server was ok to handle the situation but the kitchen is disgusting and u acceptable!!!!

called Ajisen to let them know that they were closed on DoorDash.
Young girl on the phone said “we are open, not much we can do on our end. You can order through another third party site.” Called DoorDash support, the lady on the phone had said it is up to the restaurant (Ajisen) to show whether they are open or closed, it’s not on doordash’s end.
Called the lady back, told her, still said nothing much she can do.
Tried to order through my roommates phone, also closed.
I think this location needs new management and staff.
