“This is our second visit and both times the staff have been very friendly. They recommended the mango pomelo sago drink our first time and it was so good, we went back for more! We’ll be back again for sure, they have lots of treats on the menu.“

“I ordered a cake slab from Irresistible Cakes (icakes) just a few days before my event, and the process was seamless. Their customer service was fantastic throughout! However, on the day of the event, I found myself stuck on the DVP for 3 hours due to an unexpected highway closure (yes, I was late). To make things worse, there was a mix-up with the delivery address – Ave instead of Rd.

Thankfully, icakes went above and beyond by instructing the driver to reroute, even though they didn’t have to, and I was beyond grateful for their flexibility. I can’t guarantee they’d do this for everyone, as they have a pretty thorough policy, but their willingness to help saved the day.

Luckily, someone was at the event to receive the cake, and it was a hit with everyone! Huge thanks to icakes for the excellent experience, and a special shoutout to the driver! Of course, I made sure to tip!“

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“I have recently started learning cake baking and decorating class at Lochana cake house. The teacher is very kind and explains the doubts clearly. She teaches various types of cakes and icing decorations. Her cake taste is very delicious and soft. It is very useful for me. This place is very good if you want to learn cake course.“

“My partner and I went for their Studio Ghibli themed high tea, first ever experience doing this kinda thing and it was very nice! food was flavourful, great portions and awesome service everyone was polite.
A little pricy but 10/10 very worth it between the food and service, no doubt you have to experience their events at least once.
Last note it’s also very cute they have small artist vendor art for you to buy like a convention stall!“

“The 2-tier cake that I recently ordered for my daughter’s birthday was absolutely amazing! The cake decorator/designer, Julia was so lovely since the beginning of the process at the time I met her in-person. She demonstrated above and beyond customer service checking in and calling days prior to confirm details and any last minute changes/cake design requests I wanted. Julia is so lovely and thoughtful and I very much appreciate it. Big thanks to Liron as well for coordinating the order and making my cake budget worth every dollar. Both cake flavours I requested were so tasty and not too sweet.

“Had our wedding recently. We received so many compliments for our wedding cake made by dearDeer. So many guests told us the wedding cake was unexpectedly delicious and fluffy, and some engaged couples asked us which bakery it was from. My husband and I actually didn't get a chance to eat the cake because we were too busy moving around! We needed to try for ourselves so we ordered a tasting box afterwards. Our wedding cake consisted of three tiers, each with a different flavour: Black sesame, matcha, honey yuzu. We included these flavours plus mocha in our tasting box. I personally like matcha the best.

The price for the wedding cake might have been a little expensive, but it was well worth it. Let alone the fact that everyone at the wedding was pleasantly surprised by its taste, the handcrafted figures accompanying the cake were so heartily made, cute, and very similar to the pictures I provided.

Simply put, their cakes are beautiful and tasty. Highly recommend!“

Imagine putting cream into the fridge so it’s a little firmer, but still creamy and light to the bite.So good to throw it inside a bun and with flavours! The mango one had actual bits of mango which was so refreshingThey have a few other items like these egg tarts, but they’re super thick and the tiger skin rolls which look amazing in the pictures.People working there were super friendly and tried answering my questions even with a bit of language barrier. “I have been eating them all wrong!! 🙈 Did you know they were supposed to be enjoyed fresh right away?! Today I had one the proper way. And it’s like I found a totally new donut. Crispy on the outside and mochi on the inside. It’s like they were popping donuts! The owner was so kind. And he shared with me how they are so serious about fresh donuts that if a donut isn’t sold in the timeframe they are supposed to be enjoyed, it’s thrown out. Guaranteed fresh! And here I was taking them home to eat lol. Wrong wrong wrong lol. Can’t wait until they come to Vaughan 😉“

“Baskin-Robbins at Victoria Terrace is a delightful spot for ice cream lovers. My family and I visited recently and were thoroughly impressed. The variety of flavors was fantastic, with each one tasting fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, even as my kids took their time deciding on their choices. The store was clean and inviting, making our visit even more enjoyable. From classic flavors to creative new options, Baskin-Robbins exceeded our expectations. “First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. Overall amazing place.“

“My favorite place in Toronto for ice cream! The flavors are rich and creamy. The store on Avenue doesn't have parking but it's a nice little walk from home or we park up the street and walk to it. My son loves their ice creams too! Lots of fun flavors and toppings for kids. I'm yet to try their pop corn or ice cream cakes but will do soon! Wish they had dining accommodation but they don't. Excellent customer service and great menu selection. They have a fridge in-store for larger tubs if you'd like take-away or for a party. They also do Ubereats ?“
