“Went to this store because I really needed a birthday cake and since I work just across the street I thought why not give it a try. Oh boy they did not disappoint. Every cent I spent was worth it. The cake looked amazing, tasted even better, and the birthday celebrant and everyone else loved it. They even asked me where I got it so they could try it too. It was not too sweet, just the perfect balance and very fruity because they did not skimp on the mangoes. Happy customer right here and I will definitely be back. 🎂✨“

“Originally mangoes were out of season and the customer service did not recommend ordering mango milk cake, but my mango head really wanted to eat mango?The result! I was shocked when I got it! The mangoes are sweet and fresh! ! ! Friends love it! ! !“

“I ordered a cake slab from Irresistible Cakes (icakes) just a few days before my event, and the process was seamless. Their customer service was fantastic throughout! However, on the day of the event, I found myself stuck on the DVP for 3 hours due to an unexpected highway closure (yes, I was late). To make things worse, there was a mix-up with the delivery address – Ave instead of Rd.

Thankfully, icakes went above and beyond by instructing the driver to reroute, even though they didn’t have to, and I was beyond grateful for their flexibility. I can’t guarantee they’d do this for everyone, as they have a pretty thorough policy, but their willingness to help saved the day.

Luckily, someone was at the event to receive the cake, and it was a hit with everyone! Huge thanks to icakes for the excellent experience, and a special shoutout to the driver! Of course, I made sure to tip!“

“Cute little bakery, love their variety of desserts (macarons and mini cakes). The mini cakes are so cutely designed. The macarons and cakes make a great birthday surprise for people of all ages. The macarons come in a variety of characters and flavours – be sure to try them all! For the mini cakes – my faves are the duck in the bathtub (pistachio lemon) and the tirameowsu (tiramisu in a cup with a marshmallow kitty on top). Great service from the staff behind the counter.“

“I ordered 2 dozen strawberry vanilla cupcakes for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. They were really cute, good ratio of cake to frosting, the cake was moist and tasty and the frosting was yummy! Overall very sweet, and it may be a personal preference, but for me both the cake and frosting needed a little salt to balance the sweetness. I would definitely order again!“

“A hidden gem in the plaza beside Longos. I ordered a custom cake and called Julia twice with some specific requests. She truly delivered and did a FANTASTIC job!! The price was also extremely reasonable - a tall 8” cake topped with four macarons came up to $55. It was moist, decadent, and not too sweet. If I was to be very picky, I would request the hazelnut in the buttercream to be crushed into smaller pieces and caution the pistachio and mocha flavours in the macarons were not prominent. Still, a solid 5/5 and I will order here again. Thank you for the special cake for a special person :)“

She will answer all your questions patiently and the best part is that her cakes not only look gorgeous but they also taste amazing which is not always easy to find. “I did the cake workshop with my partner. The workshop is $250 for one person plus an additional $50 for a second person.

It may seem expensive at first glance, but I felt the workshop was really worth it! The instructor was really kind and patient. She explained the process and she answered any questions I had about the baking. She was knowledgeable with the science and why we do things a certain way when it comes to baking. As someone with an interest in baking, this was really helpful and productive for my own future baking adventures!

The cake turned out great. The chiffon cake itself without the whipped cream and fruits was so soft! I loved how we had creative freedom to decorate the top of the cake on our own near the end. I would highly recommend this as a date activity or with a friend :)“

“Go to place for Shanghai style moon cakes (with pork filling), they are seasonal that you can only get around this time, call in a day or two ahead to pre-order and advise of pick up time, and voila, you will get freshly made, flaky juicy and still hot very tasty moon cakes. “Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.

Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.

Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.

Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.

Staff are super friendly and courteous.

The staff (Mehul) at BR avenue road location rendered us an excellent customer service to address the issue regarding the cake that we ordered. I really want to commend his professionalism.“
