Aladdin Pizza & Subs is the best pizza spot in Vanier. The pizza is hands down the greatest pizza, made with generous amounts of high grade ingredients instead of a thin slice of grease. The cheese pizza is perfection with rich, stretchy cheese, a perfectly baked crust, and just the right amount of sauce. The dough is always fluffy with a crunch, and the sauce is super rich with heavy tomato flavour. The vegetarian lasagna is incredible — hearty and flavorful. The garlic bread is perfectly toasted, buttery, and packed with garlic goodness. The portions are huge compared to the prices, and everything is always fresh and delicious. There isn’t a bad thing to order on the menu. The gravy for the fries and poutine is a fan favorite, and the fried chicken is perfect. The owner and staff are always friendly and polite, providing fantastic service. For Ottawa’s best pizza and excellent service, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended.
