This place serves arguably the best selection of Nigerian food in Ottawa. As a bonus, the ambiance is definitely “Lagos”.
Well conceived. Well executed. Well managed. Well liked.
The late weekend crowds are a testament in themselves.
Two thumbs up.
Beautiful place and great experience
I like the environment and the food is so tasty and good.
Relaxed atmosphere, chill tunes on a Sunday afternoon
Good vibes
Perfect place to get Nig flavours
I ordered from this restaurant three times and the first time i ordered yam porridge which was very nice but the portion is not worth the price. The second and third time I ordered jollof rice and chicken (I don’t want to sound rude) and both times I was given chicken buttocks which is fine but I would like to know if there’s a given time where the restaurant gives out that part of the chicken so that I can stop ordering at that time. Also I ordered agege bread for $6 and I only received three pcs so I would like to advice that please when selling this item put up a description or a picture on the page because I felt disappointed and scammed when I received only three small pieces of bread.
The food is very good. I usually buy okro soup or ogbono with pounded yam.
I can’t keep giving this place grace. How do you cook Ayamase with liver everywhere and no beef? If that’s how you make it, at least specify it in the description. Unfortunately, I hate liver, so I couldn’t even eat the meal. Money wasted.
Mind you, I paid $29 just to stare at a plate of liver. What a joke. Save your money go somewhere else fr!
Got there around 12pm with a friend from outside, got in and all of a sudden became invisible by all the staff, sat for over 15minutes before our table got cleaned, and was attended to by a staff who claimed not to see us eat there.
Generally a very bad experience. would not go there again.

I feel the owner of this place is ignorant of the way you guys run here these days.
Today being 30th of December 2024, I came with my family as usual to eat some good meal, after wasting so much of our time, we were told no nsala, we requested for nkwobi, after 30 minutes she came back that nkwobi was finished … she said cat fish was available, we requested, after 15 minutes she came back telling us it’s finished. Chichi restaurant don’t have malt, even bottle water for customers. Such a big good sighted place, no good management …This is sad
If we must spend a long 25 minutes drive to patronize you, you guys should do better.

Am highly disappointed in chichi restaurant, this is the second time am having a very bad experience.i ordered two plates of Pando/ Efo $29 each. Small tiny bowl of 2year old portion of soup and only 2 tiny shaped bony meat.. I was furious and mad, I didn’t know how to drive all the way to return that thing they call food.. I felt sad.. how on it can you sell a grown up using their hard earned money that kind of food.. I will never ever make that mistake of going there again..am gonna post the pictures on all groups so people can see for themselves…
Never order puff puff from then it is so bad tasted like chemicals waste of money
It was phenomenal
I wish I could return this food tonight, it so unfortunate you have closed and it’s late for me. The jollof rice is tasteless, I requested for ordinary rice and not basmati, I got basmati. I doubt if you do check your orders well before you deliver. This isn’t the first nor third time I’m experiencing this…I just hope you do something about it. If this was in the noon or if it was not this late. I would have return this food honestly. Dissatisfied with this food.
