“I had a good experience at the Plantain Cartel. Even though the food, the cocktails and the atmosphere were good I found that the prices are higher now compared to before. I think that charging $28 for a plantain now seems a bit overpriced.“

I had them taken out man I loved took me forever to find a great Latin restaurant I’m so happy as a Latino this place exist I started to celebrate heritage thx to this place. “Came here to try the blind tasting menu with my partner and was not disappointed! Very cute hidden restaurant with great ambiance. Our first course was PEI oysters with caviar, followed by watercress salad, fish tacos and eggplant lasagna. For $28/Pp on a Monday night it was a great deal.Would love to come back to try the full menuat some point.Heads up the menu did not disclose how much the beer on tap was but I believe it was $9-10.Since it was a Monday it was a bit quieter with only one person serving. There is parking on the side streets and 3 spots along the road out front“
