“I took a school trip here with over 100 students. We called them ahead of time that day to let them we were coming with our large group. And they were so great at accommodating our group, we went in groups of 20 in the restaurant for the students to order their ice cream, then once they all received their ice cream the next group came. Everything ran so smoothly, the manager was so generous, sweet, organized and accommodating, it was such a positive experience. They got everyone's orders in and we were out in what felt like 30 minutes or so, which was pretty impressive considering our numbers. Would recommend!“

“I placed an order online for a custom cake on 10/21/24. Prior to placing this order, I called their location twice to ask questions about custom ordering a cake. Two of their colleagues answered all my questions without difficulties over the phone. I did not feel rushed any of the times I called.

The custom order was for a special occasion. I had a specific design in mind and I wanted it to be perfect. When placing the order online, I uploaded a picture of the design that I created. I was told the cake would take 2-3 days. After placing the order, Tammie (one of the cake decorators) phoned to confirm my request two days later. She had a question about my design and wanted to clarify what I wanted done. Tammie did an excellent job with re-creating the vision I wanted.

If it weren't for Tammie calling me to confirm the design I wanted, the cake would not have turned out amazing as it did. I wanted a personal message with a custom photo. I think on the DQ website, you can't upload a custom image unless it's for an edible image topper (I didn't want this edible topping). I can see this system limitation causing issues in the future for other customers. I hope this is something that DQ head office will fix in the future.

Tammie, at the get-together, everyone loved the masterpiece that you re-created. I highly recommend that if you are designing a cake, you ask for Tammie. She's wonderful and pays attention to detail and what she doesn't know, she will call and ask. I'm truly so impressed with her service. Big praises to Tammie and her dedication to creating a masterpiece.
