“We moved to Stoney Creek 3 years ago, found Moghuls and have been ordering from them ever since. We have never been disappointed. Recently, I had a large group of 26 for which I had to cater. Hari, both a chef and the manager met with me and was just so very helpful in assisting with the choice of dishes. He and the restaurant went above and beyond normal expectations. All of my party expressed how much they enjoyed the food. Everything was ready for pickup at the agreed upon time. Couldn't be happier with the service and the food. “Everything about this place is amazing. The people who work here, the cooks, the atmosphere (when indoor dining is allowed), and of course the food. The waitress who works here, I don’t know her name, but she is absolutely amazing. She is just THE sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She restores my faith in humanity everytime I come here. The food is always incredible, always tasty, fresh and full of flavour. There’s a handful of vegan options, the onion bhajis are my absolute favourite and I have the utmost faith and trust in Prince Of India when it comes to the knowledge of food restrictions, they ask how spicy you want your dish (mild, medium or spicy) and they really do give great sized portions. You even get a discount on your meal when you dine in, which is such a nice bonus. I recommend Prince Of India to everyone I talk to, quite literally. If you’re looking for authentic food, and even further, authentic people, this is the place.“

“We were in the mood for some Indian food and decided to try this place as we had never heard of it before. We tried the lentil soup, butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala, along with the chicken samosas and garlic chili naan. The food was absolutely stellar! Probably the best lentil soup and tikka masala I’ve ever had. Service was very kind and friendly. Only thing I would say needs improvement is the atmosphere in their modest dine-in space. They only just opened a dine-in area recently (they were predominantly a takeaway) so I’d cut them a bit of slack. There’s a tv on the wall but it was off. No music. It was so quiet we could hear other people chewing across the room. Play some music, and offer ice for the lukewarm water, and this place would be 5 stars. Give them a try!“

We had a fantastic dinner here. The beef and chicken biryani was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the naan came out hot and fresh. Every dish was packed with authentic flavor and just the right amount of spice.

The lady/owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the whole dining experience even better. If you are looking for amazing Indian food with great service, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back!“

“I didn’t get the chance to try the food today, but I still wanted to leave a review because of the kindness I experienced here. I was in the area for my driving test, but unfortunately my car battery died and I couldn’t take my exam. My phone was also dead, and I had nobody to call. I was completely panicked, crying and shaking because I felt so alone and helpless. I know it may not sound like a big situation, but in that moment, I genuinely didn’t know what to do. I came in and asked if I could charge my phone, and someone from the kitchen noticed I wasn’t okay and came to check on me. I explained what happened, and he simply said, “I’ll help you.” He went out of his way to help me when I really needed it. I was so overwhelmed that I don’t think I properly thanked him, but I’m truly so grateful. Sometimes a small act of kindness from a stranger can mean more than they realize. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to actually try the food! ❤️ Thank you so much for your kindness and for helping me when I needed it most.“

“We had food catered for about 25 people and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and flavours. We had chicken biryani, nargasi koftay (meatballs with boiled eggs), beghrey bengun (egg plant), chicken Karhai, chickens seekh kebabs and shahi zarda. All the food was amazing, would specially call out meatballs and kebabs had smoky charcoal aroma which elevated the food. Overall a great experience, from placing order to pickup. The food was nicely packed and no spills in the car and quantity was generous. Would highly recommend this place for their catering and also takeout.“

“Had the amritsari kulcha (stuffed naan) and it was great. Very flavourful! Had regular spice level which was perfect for me to still be able to taste the other flavours. Came with raita and chick pea curry. Both very good. Chick peas were definitely on the spicier side for me but very fresh and tasty. It’s just of to the side of an Asian grocer, so not much for ambiance, but the staff were super friendly and obviously took pride in the food they were making.“

I really like their golgappe, especially because they offer five different kinds of water, which makes it fun to try...

“I went here for my mom's birthday and let's just say they did not disappoint at all. From the outstanding service to the flavorful food it went wonderful. We got there at 7:45 and started receiving food around 8:00. The food was great and the service was too good. The owner was our waiter and he was so kind and recommended very tasty food. We ordered naan and it was a bit too crispy, but the owner apologized and brought new soft naan in under 5 minutes. Totally recommended! 💯“

“We got take out from here last night for the first time and everything was so good!
We got palak paneer, butter chicken, goat jalfrezi, garlic naan, and their noodle spring rolls.
All curries medium size and medium heat, great portions and definitely had some kick but not overwhelmingly spicy.

Inside the restaurant is lacking atmosphere for sure but we will definitely be back for the food!“

“Bombay's Chutney has been my go to indian restaurant for the last seven years. I have never had bad service or a bad meal. My husband adores the hot beef vindaloo. The kids and I always order mild because we don't have a high heat tolerance. Always amazing. I have had some excellent date nights and family meals there over the years. The takeout is also awesome! But we are really looking forward to coming back when indoor/patio dining is allowed. Highly recommend this amazing place. Wonderful staff and owners and absolutely amazing food. All the stars!“

They have good serving size and always have farali options available in the menu which is very rare and really useful for people like me who are often fasting.

“We purchased lamb curry at the Waterdown Market and it was amazing. It was so easy to make a meal. 10 minutes in a boiling pot and served over rice. Perfect portion.

“Our first visit here was beyond amazing!! The food was incredible the owners and staff, very friendly and happy to explain it suggest various dishes, sauces and desserts from the menu. The Butter Chicken and Daal Makhani was incredible. Their Naan bread with some of the best we ever had and was made to order in front of us. We loved the samosas so much we brought 1/2 dozen home. Even though it’s an hour and a half drive for us we can’t wait to go back!!“

“This is my favorite Indian restaurant. We have been eating here since 2004. The dishes are all spectacular with our favorites being the lunch platter that has three dishes, a yogurt based palette cleanser, naan and rice. Nice to see that they have more eat in space now.“

“We used to come back to this restaurant regularly for their fish, and we had some really good experiences a few years ago. Unfortunately, we visited again a couple of days ago after a long break, and this time the food was quite disappointing.

The fish was not as good as we remembered, the crust was soggy and lacked flavour. I’m not sure if there has been a change in management or preparation, but it definitely wasn’t the same quality we experienced before.

The naan, however, was very tasty and probably the highlight of the meal. We also tried the butter chicken, which was recommended by the staff, but unfortunately it was quite average and the portion size felt small for the price.

Overall, it was disappointing to see the quality decline compared to our previous visits. Hopefully, it was just an off day and they can bring back the quality they were known for.“
