We always eat at a AW but this one was not up to standards. Cold food at opening, would not accept our gift card as they said CASH ONLY in morning. Would not change one coffee for a tea on a combo., said could only do coffee. Staff did not listen, had order wrong. Will not go back to that one or another one we find is same way after change in management.

Ordered a breakfast combo, with the egger on a bun. Didn’t come with a hash brown and it was served on an English muffin. I ask about the hash brown and the bun, and was told I didn’t pay for for a hash brown, and then she closed the drive through window on me.
Unbelievably disappointed in this location, between this and the way you won’t let me order a large drink, I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

Absolutely nothing positive about this food outlet. Ordered cheddar bacon uncle combo which was a tad more than warm, fries were the same. Server at the drive thru window was in a miserable mood. Was gone too far to return and complain so I ended up chucking everything except the Sprite; $20 wasted! I do not recommend this place and won't be going back. Edit: I received the automatic generated reply below and I did follow it through because the food was so bad. The owner of the store made contact to determine the issue and find a resolution. She has just recently taken over this store and is making changes to address the problems and get customers to return. She sounded determined and genuine and definitely wants to move forward. I do have a car service due soon (close to this store) and will try A&W again and report back. In the meantime I wish Manika well on her new venture.

This location has decided to change extra for condiments, which is very disappointing 😒 I am baffled by the idea that extra mayonnaise will cost them more than my repeat business. I will not be returning to this location!

Decided to look past the high prices and try a classic fast food joint. Well no food and not fast nearly 20 minutes in the drive thru about half of it at the speaker. Silence. Silence more silence. Finally someone speaks. I just said never mind you took too long. And drove off. There were no cars in front of me at this point. Never going to that location by st. Jacobs ever again. I'm a patient guy but that was excessive.

The value for a combo at A&W is too expensive for what you get. I got a papa combo with a poutine upgrade which was over $20. Also it wasen't worth it at all as my burger was not fresh. It have cheese on the patty which was already hard. The prep. of the burger was sloppy as all the ingredients added were piled on one side of the burger. They poutine was cold, nothing special at all.

I had the veggie burger, but it wasn’t made well — too little salt, no pepper, and no sauces at all. I had to ask for extra sauce. It really wasn’t prepared properly. It was very sober
