Hostess was a troll, didn't honour the reservation we made, refused to seat us at a standard table. Server brought the wrong meal for my husband, so he ate after us. I included that we were celebrating a birthday (in reservation and to server) and nothing was acknowledged. Horrible service start to finish. Upsetting because the food and atmosphere was good.

Abe Erb is a comfortable establishment; a recommended place to have a night out with friends.
Our Server set a welcoming tone; our party turned that into a very pleasant evening.
The burger I chose was very good. Bacon, cheese, caramelized onion, add up to a very fine sandwich.
The fries were a nice compliment.
Abe Erb in Uptown Waterloo is definitely a good bet for a night out.

Extremely unprofessional management. Don’t care about regular customers only group events. Don’t waste your time driving here.
Mostly go for trivia night and its a blast every time. They always have something interesting to try thats new from their rotation of brews/cocktails. I recommend trying it out with a big group and everyone get something different. They also do have flights that can help you find a new favourite!

Undercooked chicken ruined everything they had going for them. The atmosphere was good and the servers were friendly. I haven’t been to this restaurant in a few years and I was excited. Must be new owners or something. Either way, the food brought the experience down.
