I’ve been here a handful of times and the service has always been quick and attentive, the food is amazing, and the restaurant is well kept and clean. Famoso takes pride in their artisanal dough and you can tell. Recently we went for drinks, appies, and a margarita pizza and it was everything we wanted and more. Love coming here !
We had been here a few years ago while in town and had a great experience and were looking forward to dining here again. Unfortunately, our second visit was not so great! Ultimately, it came down to service (or lack there of). Our server was lacklustre, and didn’t look like he cared to be there (could have easily mistaken him as a busboy). It took well over 15min to get menus. The food was good, but then dessert (a simple scoop of gelato) took over 20min. I could have walked...
I loved the atmosphere and the vibes there, we requested to sit out in the patio as it was a beautiful evening and the staff was really friendly and good and quickly arranged a table for us.
For food, I would say it was the best Italian pizza I had in Waterloo, also the best part is they have the vegetarian options which was the best part, the staff did also suggested us some really good dishes to order and it was fantastic.
