The aesthetic is an old timey American diner and it's very cute. They no longer have the free jukebox which sucks cuz it was my favorite part but I still think it's cool they have one. The food is a bit over priced in my opinion but im biased because I think pretty much anytime diner is over priced. I used to go to Mel's all the time as a student. Then I stopped when I was diagnosed with Celiac and I then had a very bad episode. This was years ago, long before COVID.
NOW, they have completely redeemed themselves and then some! They have a great GF menu and try very hard to ensure safety. I felt great after eating and the burgers are just as I remember.
