“tried for the first time on valentines Day! was glad we made a reservation because it was bumpin. my husband is not easy to get to like Mexican food, but he says this is his new fave spot for it! best margarita I ever had, too. great prices, great service, great atmosphere. they had a water pitcher and tortilla chips with a selection of salsas out for us on arrival. the nachos were literally incredible - we added the beef - and the birria tacos were amazing. can't say enough good about this place. mouth is watering writing this review lol.“

“Had a really good experience yesterday!

I walked into Fresh Burrito because I’ve ordered their birria loaded fries online before, and since I was heading home from work and that’s what I wanted, I figured I’d stop and pick it up myself. They had a sign OUTSIDE advertising the birria stuff, however, their signs INSIDE didn’t show anything with birria.
I asked the gentleman behind the counter to confirm if they did birria or not and he said they did, they just mainly advertise it online I guess.
So I asked if I could order their birria loaded fries, but because they advertise the birria online, the gentleman had to pull the price for the fries from Uber…and it came out to be over $25 for a large, which I was happy to pay since I ordered it online before. However, he said he wasn’t going to charge me that much and decreased the price for me (I wish I kept my receipt to see what he charged me exactly).
He was kind throughout the entire interaction and made sure I left happy, and I sure did!!
I would have posted photo evidence if the evidence wasn’t sitting in my stomach haha; I devoured those fries as soon as I got my hands on them.

“I actually came here a few weeks ago on my own and tried the Barbacoa Bowl. I really enjoyed it, so I told my family we should come back together. We stopped by again today for dinner and it was another great experience. This time we ordered the Chicken Bowl, Taco Bowl, and Chips with Guacamole & Queso.
Everything came out fresh, well-prepared, and tasted really good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the bowls had plenty of fresh ingredients, and the portions were big enough that nobody left hungry. The guacamole tasted fresh, and the queso with the chips was definitely a favourite at our table. The freshness of the food really stands out compared to other options.
The staff here were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They checked in on our table once to make sure everything was okay, which we appreciated.

After two visits, it's nice to know the food quality and customer service have been consistently good. We'll definitely be back, and I'd happily recommend Guac Mexi Grill to anyone looking for a fresh, satisfying meal around University Avenue in Waterloo“
