I really love Milestone, and everything was almost perfect I'm giving 4 stars because the short rib which was the meal I was most exited about, was really disappointing and for the cost it's not worth it. However, the starter and the lobster risotto was amazing.

I went there with my wife, and she absolutely loved both the food and the atmosphere. This might be the best experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Our server, Jamaica, was incredibly professional and made the visit even better. We’ll definitely be going back.

Service was super friendly and food came out hot and tasty. We did the late night special after 9pm, coming for a bite after a local holiday concert. It was excellent!

This Milestones location is not in good condition. I made a reservation for my dad's birthday, yet we were initially seated at a table right by the door with a bench that was peeling and torn. When we asked to be moved, the hostess was reluctant to accommodate us, even though a table for five sat empty during our entire meal. We were eventually moved to a small table in the lower section, but one of those chairs was also torn. The food was okay, but for the price, it didn't feel like good value. There are many better options in Waterloo with much better food, service, and atmosphere. It's disappointing, as Milestones used to be one of my dad's preferred chains and we chose it specifically for his birthday. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Went for a late lunch with 2 others. Maybe 10 customers seated. Jordana our waitress left much to be desired. After waiting to order at least 15 full minutes, 2 of us ordered the sweet Thai chicken which looked fabulous on the menu. Third guest ordered sandwich,soup and salad which was perfect. After asking us how everything was we discussed that the chicken was very dry. Jordana offered more sauce. This was no help to the day old, dried out overcooked chicken. After that we never saw her again until we flagged her down in the kitchen. I reiterate the restaurant was almost empty. We saw her moving around, but, since the chicken complaint she clearly avoided us. Me being super hungry I ate around the chicken. My friend simply refused to eat a $30 meal that was terrible. By the time we flagged her down all she said about the uneaten meal was I'm sorry, I'll take it off the bill. I paid full price for mine. After 2 were finished eating she asked if she could bring something else. As not to delay our dining experience further with a new order our friend said no thanks. After bringing our bills she said well I hope the service was ok. WHAT SERVICE! She provided no service. And I think that remark was just her being sarcastic. Terrible experience.
Just looked at reviews. All of the bad reviews seem to be in the last 6 to 8 months. Place is on the downhill slide

I haven't been here for a couple years due to health issues. I requested a window table due to accessibility and that's what we got. Our server was very personable and efficient. My sister in law ordered fish tacos and I had the seafood risotto. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food and were quite happy that a bottle of wine was half price , and I could take the remainder home. Overall, very much enjoyed the whole experience, and look forward to going again.
Had the happy hour steak frites for $24.. looked to be about 4 oz of steak. The food is fine quality but they're pinching pennies on the portions with high prices. Likely won't go back any time soon.

Had a drink and an appetizer. Service was good, appetizer was tasty. The restaurant normally closes at 10pm; however, we were told at 8:15 that they would be closing at 9pm.....as they did not have any reservations. I found this to be odd, we came thinking they closed at 10pm.
