Talk about a rip off. My wife had salmon and she said it was good. My friends partner had a salad and added shrimp. My friend and myself chose the blackened chicken and what a mistake. Seriously, a small chicken breast sliced in half served with some pasta. We both thought the kitchen had screwed up and split the order to be honest. All this together with two martini's came to a staggering $200 bill.
The food taste and general quality was far from good.

Milestones in Waterloo is a fantastic choice when you're looking for something that strikes the perfect balance between fine dining and a casual night out. The restaurant has a warm, modern atmosphere that feels inviting without being too formal. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The menu offers a wide variety of food and drink options, from elevated comfort dishes to creative cocktails and healthier choices. Whether you're out for a relaxed dinner with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Milestones delivers consistently great food in a stylish yet laid-back setting.

Avoid!!!
We asked for two burgers well-done, they were pink inside. Sent back both. Steak was rare, not medium rare. Surf and turf smelled fishy. Tables and menus were sticky. Washroom smelled of septic, not like someone just came out, but like it was the natural constant smell of the place. If you can’t keep the washroom clean, tables and menus clean, what condition is your kitchen?

Went in for early bowl of soup and pop. The mushroom soup was very good. The pop with no ice and lime was as flat as can be. And it was $4.00. I order no ice because I like my pop fizzy and ice tends to decrease that. It was told it was Coke Zero. Also had to get my own salt and pepper and search for my server for the bill.

Loved it as usual, food and service was great. Liked that music wasn't too loud so I could hear my lunch mate.

It's a real shame to see how much the quality of food at this place has declined. It's been our go-to place for special occasions for over a decade. Despite being a chain restaurant, the food had been consistently good and the recipes creative. The service was always, and remains, excellent. But this time around it was clear that management has let this place go to the dogs. I ordered the sirloin steak medium rare. It arrive cold and gray. The grill was clearly not hot enough. The steak was more akin to boiled than grilled. When I showed the steak to our amazing server, she agreed it wasn't right, but after speaking to the management she said that the best she could do was offer a free dessert. Not even an offer to re-cook a new steak properly or comp the uneaten steak. Not her fault, clearly a management issue. Will definitely not be returning.

The worse service (from our second waiter only!, the first one was great)
The food is bad, the cakes were returned by us because one was rotten (yep) and other one just garbage.
I wish I’ve never celebrated my BD in that place.

Enjoyed a family celebration and a good meal. We started with shared appetizers and Bellini's, which were lovely! The steaks were all prepared as requested and the table service was very good.
We reserved or table in advance but it was a Monday evening and there was no pressure.

Very disappointed. The cocktails were great, though. The first waitress was friendly and quick, but the second waitress, after her shift, was slow and unfriendly, and she made mistakes with our bills. The cheesecake was terrible, especially the “espresso” cream underneath. All four of us agreed that it was spoiled, and we ended up spitting it out! We then switched to the chocolate cake, but it was so full of artificial flavors that we decided not to give dessert another chance. On a positive note, my meat was cooked perfectly medium rare, which was the only good part of the meal (along with the first waitress). The mango salad was horrible, drenched in sauce, and my friends barely touched it. The hamburgers were okay, and the calamari were good. Overall, I would rate the food a 3 out of 5, but the cocktails deserve a 10 out of 10. We were celebrating my birthday yesterday, and I had booked a table for six, requesting a quiet, comfortable corner spot. However, when I arrived, I noticed that the table we received was in a large row with everyone else, which was uncomfortable. We had three chairs and a shared padded bench on the other side, so I asked to be moved to a different location. Upon my arrival, I also inquired if any of my guests had arrived. The response was, “No, but someone just dropped off balloons for you and left.” I assumed this was a surprise from my pregnant friend, who had to cancel for obvious reasons, and I asked to take the balloons with me to our new table. Later, I requested that the balloons be kept at the reception, as they were uncomfortable to carry while sitting, and I planned to take them home at the end of the night. After I took my balloons, one of the waitresses ran over to me, shouting, “Excuse me, where are you taking the balloons?” I was surprised and explained what I had been told, but she insisted that they were theirs. I felt so ashamed, as if I was stealing them. I do not recommend celebrating anything
Ordered chicken tacos at this location via uber eats and the chicken was raw
It's Milestones. They are all similar. The restaurant was great, service was friendly, the only complaint is that quality of the food just wasn't there for some things. Salmon was wildly overcooked for all 3 people that ordered it, and the ramen was pretty bland and not worth eating. The burger and salads were all excellent as were the cocktails and dessert. Overall it was good, just be careful what you order.
Great atmosphere. Tried a new menu item and it was fabulous. Waitress seemed a little distracted but was still good service.
