As someone who has rather low standards for food, some stuff was alright but there are some things that could be better. I mostly get food from the hot dish area and it changes every day. Some days are decent and some days are unlikable. While I don’t really hate anything in particular, I unfortunately really don’t like how they make the rice. It’s crumbly and falls apart.
Like all the on campus food places it is really expensive but forced to buy here as I have a meal plan. Beware of the weigh your plate option as prices add up fast. I am from REV and it is worth the 5 minute walk as Mudies has much more options. CMH is a little bigger though. Food is decent, not terrible. If you are able to eat off campus, I would recommend it due to the really high prices.
As a student with meal plan, I love Mudie's. They have a HUGE selection (for those without dietary restrictions), super friendly staff, and awesome variety (both in snacks and hot meals). They have some of the best hours on campus for cafeterias (staying open until 2:30 during exam time), and a bunch of exam season specials. The staff really care about their students, and some employees are actually hired residents.
