Nice place, as always.
This is a great option for a good quality, sit-down meal on campus. The staff had some struggles understanding the drink orders and requests resulting in an incorrect drink order and quite a lot of time consulting with their co-workers to fix. They could use extra training on the menu as well. Even though it was a set menu they didn't have answers ready about the meal. Eg. What vegetables are with this? I think a little more training for the staff would have made this a 5-star...read full review
Definitely not the place for a first-year, but I understand the appeal for staff/faculty. It was a great ambiance for business or meeting up with an old friend. Service was so kind, and the food (Holiday Special) tasted fresh but under seasoned for my liking. I wish they specified that they only take flex dollar- as it's implied everywhere else on campus that “accepts WatCard” = apart of meal plan. The University Club is a great option for a sit-down meal on campus. While the staff may need extra training on the menu and drink orders, the food is delicious and offers great value. The ambiance is suitable for business or social gatherings. However, some menu items may be under-seasoned, and it's not recommended for first-years due to its priciness. The service is kind, but some staff members may be inexperienced. Overall, it's a lovely setting, but may benefit from some improvements to reach its full potential.
