Been coming to the princess café a little over a year now! The latte's are amazing, the food is really great, the staff is super nice, and the whole atmosphere is very cozy!
My only issue is that for whatever reason as of late, the internet connection has just made it almost impossible to do any work. It's fine when you first arrive, but it's like the more people start to pool in, the worse the wifi connection gets. To the point where none of my online writing programs work, and loading a tab on Chrome takes forever.
It's unfortunate, because this was my go-to study spot. I hope this improves somehow.

I have been visiting the Princess Cafe for a panini and side since 2010 or before. In a world that is constantly changing all the time, there's something really comforting about being able to get one of my favourite paninis (the yamwich or curried tuna) and one of my favourite pasta salads (but, please add back artichokes to it) for over 15 years. I especially love supporting a local, family-run business with nice vibes and solid coffee drinks.

I visited Princess Café for the first time today, and I must say, it was impeccable. I truly enjoyed the sandwich, and the half hot chocolate, half tea I ordered was perfectly made. There was plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was ideal for peaceful studying. I’ll definitely be back. 🤎

The sandwiches are fine, just very expensive. Their other food is bad though and their menu is small. The staff are nice. But I hated my experience there because of the atmosphere. Their chairs are super high and have no arm rests. They don't look stable and are pretty flimsy. They are very unsafe. I need to sit in a normal chair so they put me across the hall in a study room. Like their place is so bad all children, elderly, injured (on crutches) and disabled people have to sit in a completely separate room outside of the Cafe. I can't believe they treat people like this.

I loooove the princess cafe. The sandwiches are SO good, worth every penny and the drinks are yummy. Love working in the Annex and chilling in the cafe. The seperated spaces are a super cool idea. The dishware is super cute too.

I loved coming here! There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. They offer a good variety of sandwiches as well as drinks, including both alcoholic and caffeinated options. The sandwiches were very tasty, though I didn’t realize the chicken was deli-style and that was kinda disappointing.

I was there tonight, and it's a nice place for a grilled cheese or roast beef sandwich. However, the service was terrible. This is the second time I've had the misfortune of being served by the same rude staff member. Of course, I didn't leave a tip this time. Her demeanor doesn’t match the vibe of the space—she might be better off looking for a job where she doesn't have to interact with customers.
Love coming here ! Amazing selection of lunch items, pastries, and drinks. I love their matcha and their bee’s cheese grilled cheese, to die for ! I’ve even tried to replicate it at home. The atmosphere is very cute, curated, and eclectic. I find the service to be quite slow at times even when they aren’t busy. Definitely a waterloo gem though in a great location with lots of space.

My favourite place to study uptown! They have a separate room attached to the cafe with tables for those wanting to sit down and study (with purchase at the cafe of course), and they will deliver your food/drinks to you! The actual cafe is quite beautiful with lots of character and vintage decor, and their sandwiches/paninis are delicious!!!

A HIDDEN GEM. I would not have thought to come and eat in here if it wasn't for someone bringing me here. The only reason why I gave it a four-star for atmosphere instead of a five was because there wasnt a ton of seating, either window seating, or a few along the wall. But I did enjoy the hightop table. Just not my TOTAL preference.
But!!!! The food was oh my goodness, chefs kiss! We ordered the MUSHROOM MELT and The YAMWHICH. The pesto, the cheese, the crunch of the bread. The sweet potato in the yamwhich. 🤤 So very worth it! We also purchased the cookie, which was a cinnamon toast crunch with white chocolate. Very sweet! As well as sparking drinks, that as usual smell absolutely amazing but the taste is always meh. NOT the cafes fault.
The people working that day were wonderful and I will be 1000% coming back, bringing others to drool over your food and recommending to as many as I can.
