Ordered a takeout for Chicken lollipop, but ended up disappointed by getting only 5 pieces for the price it’s being sold . I have eaten a good quality and quantity of the same dish in various restaurants. Not worth the money.

I’m a bit disappointed with my order today. I usually like this place, but the raita had this really bad, foul smell like the yogurt had totally gone off. We couldn't even eat it and had to throw it out immediately. Please check the food before sending it out.

Frankly Disappointed. I had Malabar chicken curry, the food is average ( not fresh chicken) and the price is too high for the provided quantity, it was not even sufficient for one person.

Very disappointing experience. I had the gravy from this shop, and shortly afterwards I developed a severe stomach upset and loose motion that lasted for several days. Based on my experience, I would not recommend eating here. I hope the shop takes food hygiene and quality more seriously so others don't have to go through the same experience.

Very good food, and they adapt to not make it too much chilli, and very nice people, heartwarming

I’m writing this review purely based on the food quality, because I want to make it clear that the staff and customer service were absolutely not the problem. The staff were polite, humble, and even made changes I requested without any issue. They were genuinely good.

Now coming to the food extremely disappointing.

I ordered idli and vada, and when I got home (literally just 15–20 minutes later), I could already see how bad the quality was. The idli was clearly old and stale. The outer layer had become so dry that I could literally peel it off like a skin. Fresh idli should never feel like that.

The vada was burnt, overcooked, and not enjoyable at all.

What shocked me more was the portion size. Charging $15 for just two very small idlis, not even regular size, barely bigger than paniyaram is honestly unacceptable. And the chutney/sides quantity was ridiculously small less than an inch.

This is not about money. You can charge $30 if the quality matches. But please don’t serve old, stale, poorly prepared food and expect customers to accept it.

Food is important. Food is something people trust you with. Please don’t play with that.

We had a wonderful dining experience. The Mirchi Bajji was perfectly crispy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The Chicken 65 was delicious tender and juicy. The Chicken Chettinad stood out with its rich, aromatic spices and perfectly cooked chicken.
The Garlic Naan and Malabar parota was soft, fresh, and complemented the curries very well.
A special mention goes to Durai for his exceptional service.

Rani Chettinad is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves authentic South Indian cuisine. I tried the Onion Pakoda, Onion Uttapam, and Rava Dosa, and all three dishes were very tasty. The flavors were authentic and the food was freshly prepared.

I recently visited Rani Chettinad, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I have tried the Ambur 65 biriyani and it was delicious. The rice was aromatic and flavourful , while the chicken was perfectly cooked.
