I have been coming to this place for the past few years, and this was a major disappointment. We ordered the boneless fried chicken and it was fully raw on the inside. I wish I had taken a photo, but I was in disbelief. I'm aware that people have their off days and that's totally understandable, but the way that they handled it was really inconsiderate. They made it seem like we were troubling them for their chicken being raw and were surprised when we left them no tip. It sucks because I used to love this place, I've made lots of great memories here, but unfortunately I won't be coming back after this. Additionally, the portions are huge for them to not be fully cooked. If you can't cook the chicken when they're that big, then make them smaller.

We usually have a good experience with Seoul soul but today was disappointing. We ordered the sweet and sour boneless chicken and it was raw. This ruined our appetite and we will unfortunately not come back.

I’ve been going to Seoul Soul for months, and I can’t believe I never wrote a review before. The food here is always amazing — super fresh, flavourful, and comforting. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, and the portions are great too.

The service is friendly, the place is cozy, and it’s honestly one of my favourite spots in town. If you’re looking for really good Korean food, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The kimchi jjigae from this place is the best one in waterloo for sure. The depth of the flavour is definitely there. And Ive been to many Korean restaurants around here and my order is only kimchi jjigae so i know what im talking about

It's our go to for Korean food. My kids love the LA Kalbi and their Korean fried chicken,mine is the fire chicken and also we tried a few of their staple soups and we all had an amazing experience.Highly recommend.

Decently priced food, and they always have big enough portions that I have leftovers to take home. As a broke college student this is truly amazing. Service is super nice, and food comes fast!

This Korean Restaurant located near University of Waterloo, they had a good korean food such as Crispy Korean Chicken with different glazed from Spicy Sweet Sauce, Honey BBQ, Honey Garlic, Soy Garlic etc, I specificaly like the Honey BBQ one, we also try the Fire Chicken, a spicy stir fry chicken with vegetables. This one good for those who like spicier dish.🔥🔥👍 we also love the condiment that comes free such as pickled turnip and carrot, kimchee, glazed sweet potato and I think pickled fish cake with cabbage.
I just didnt quite like the kimchee pancake. Too thick and didnt quite like the taste. The restaurant can be very busy during lunch time even on weekend.

Ordered the Bulgogi for takeout. Ascended. The portion is pretty big for a reasonable price.

I had a great experience at this Korean restaurant. The food was super flavorful and felt really authentic — especially the kimchi, which tasted homemade. We ordered the kalbi, kimchi pancake, and tofu stew, and everything came out hot and fresh. The banchan (side dishes) were generous and refilled without us even asking.

Service was fast and friendly, and the staff checked in just enough without being too much. The vibe is casual but clean, perfect for both a quick dinner or a relaxed night out. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes.

Highly recommend if you’re craving real Korean comfort food. I’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend this Korean restaurant!
The food was absolutely amazing — I especially loved the Galbi and chicken. The service was great, and the prices are very reasonable, which makes it perfect for university students. This might just become my new go-to spot!
