Ordered the rice cakes with ramen and seasoned fried chicken. We asked for less spicy and the rice cakes came watery… still tasted good but diluted. Fried chicken was BOMB, gochujangy sweet and saucy.

Kimchi fried rice (KFR) had 5 tiny pieces of kimchi and 4 slices of sausage plus an overcooked fried egg. I can literally make better KFR at home, for far less. I would be ashamed to serve this to family or friends, let alone paying customers. Where’s your pride?
As for service, you need to present the invoice with itemized price, tax and total, instead of simply presenting the card reader with the total amount for payment.
I hope you take this comment seriously and address these issues.

sowon i miss you pls open in toronto! truly the best kfc i’ve ever had. the sauce is amazing and the chicken is juicy and delicious. haven’t had it in over a year but i’m leaving this review to commemorate all the great meals i had there during my last few years of uni. the large chicken would be shared by me and my friends every time we had a celebratory meal :)

I can guarantee the owner of this restaurant is not a korean. Do not go. It's a waste of time and money. Never go there. Sonimrege is a restaurant that serves trash.
Easily one of the best Korean fried chicken spots. Hands down, if you get a chance please come here. I’ve gone maybe 12-13 times and every single time the chicken was absolutely amazing.
We went for dinner and got a table for 2 near the door. We ordered the pork bone soup and the rice cakes and noodles. The rice cakes were great - very soft and chewy, and the fish cakes and noodles were also good. However, my girlfriend didn't like the pork bone soup because it didn't have potatoes (I guess that's why they don't call it gamjatang) and had kimchi, which she didn't enjoy, though others might. The prices are also higher than other Korean restaurants nearby.
The service was slow as they didn't check up on us to ask if we were ready to order. Overall, it's below average for Korean restaurants in our opinion.
