Food was good server was good and then a lady and family came in and sat next to us WITH HER DOG in the rear of this eatery.Since when do I have to share my eating space with a dog.We will never be back and brought it to the attention of our server/waiter
Great bakery serving up some delicious baked goods. We bought cheese and veggie bread(OMG good), dill pickle bread(delicious), a pumpkin tart and an apple fritter. Definitely a dangerous place if you go hungry.
When we told a friend we were going to St. Jacob's for a family wedding he immediately insisted we visit the Stone Crock Bakery and bring him back Long Johns... how could we say no? We really did not know what to expect, but the Long Johns were delicious, worth the trip for sure! We stocked up on some muffins, tarts and other sweet treats as well, they were all excellent! Worth a stop for sure!
They offer all kinds of treats like baked tarts, local honey and maple syrup along with prepared snacks like sandwiches. Seems like a popular place and for good reason. I was surprised to see a dog in there (no indication it was a service dog) despite being a food outlet.
Lovely town and nearby trails for shopping and strolling around. Worth a visit and while there a visit to the St. Jacob's market and Schoolhouse Theatre.
Seems to be under new management and what once was very good has got to the bottom. Rather than sell day old bread, it appears that it's frozen and sold when it's left over.
The bakery on Main Street is a must visit for your favourite baked goods. Nice to have fresh goods so easily available.
Walked in to find something to eat/munch on. They had a lot of baked good and bread items. Not a lot of vegetarian savoury items, few options for regular savoury items. A lot of their selection was for baked good and sweets and all of those looked good. Good spot if you are feeling something sweet.
We stopped in here for a snack, and picked up a few baked goods to take home. The staff are always friendly. Get there early in the day, because things sell out fast!
I have driven through ungodly hail storms to get at the Dutch Apple squares at the Stone Crock bakery. Today I made another discovery, which I am almost reluctant to share with you because I am terrified you will buy them all up ahead of me: it's the tea ball. Not everything in this bakery is five stars, though many items make the cut, but the blueberry lemon tea ball is a divinity. Cruller on the outside, light blueberry lemon muffin on the inside it's a perfect hybrid. I'm in foodie heaven. Prices are reasonable and sweet flavours abound. High recommend.

Even tho' my trip had to be quick, I took 10 mins. to visit the Stone Crock Bakery to SMELL the delicious fragrances of baking breads, pies and assorted treats. Left with 6 assorted Tarts and a box of different scrumptious Squares! It's a MUST-STOP destination.
