Yang Yum: Secret Korean Recipe

Cute small location but so worth it!! Generous amounts of meat and the sweetest lady serving us!! Do not graduate before eating this!!

I was visiting from the States and craving authentic Korean food and Yang Yum Korean Recipe absolutely delivered! The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was incredible. The chicken was packed with flavor and paired perfectly with rice. That chicken + rice combo hit different (iykyk)!

The side dishes were also on point, especially the japchae, which tasted super authentic and brought me right back to home-cooked meals. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for real Korean comfort food in Waterloo.

Ordered chicken to go. Service was quite friendly. Chicken was a bit dry though.

Got the Yang Yum chicken box (sorry for the bad photo) and it was pretty good. I liked the sauce on the chicken and the cabbage salad. The mandu and pickled radish were good as well! Would definitely recommend

Food was ok. Made my stomach hurt after. Bulgogi was too salty and had too much soya flavour. Chicken was too buttery and made my head hurt. There are places that do it better. Lady was nice though

Great place with the best korean fried chicken i’ve tried so far, and I had quite a few. Dumplings were also great! Service was really good.

So good! Tons of food! Everything we had was fantastic, a tofu rice bowl, chicken dosirak, and bulgogi bao. Chicken nice and crispy with perfect amount of sauce

The butter chicken is out of this world, it's actually addicting. We've ordered 3 times and quality is really good and consistent. Will try other menu options next, sadly some cool things I see in review photos aren't available in uber eats, would like to ask for any options not on uber eats to be added please, we love your food! Thank you!

The star is their chicken, I find it so crispy and so good it melts in your mouth and I recommend to anyone who comes to Waterloo to try them out
