Forno Sourdough Pizza + Bread

This restaurant, like Westport, is a hidden gem. The taste and freshness is amazing . Staff very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try if you visit Westport.

Had an amazing meal at Forno in Westport tonight. Algarve salad to start was excellent and the handmade pizza was fantastic. Friendly service topped off the night. Highly recommended.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences. Our server was friendly and attentive, the environment was inviting and the food was incredible. Best sourdough pizza and sourdough cinnamon buns ever! You can tell they put alot of love into their food. We also purchased bread to take with us which was an added bonus. We visit Westport usually once a year or so and this was our first time dining here. We will absolutely return next summer!

We were in the area for a family cottage week, and we were so happy to find this gem. Great staff, beautiful space, delicious bread, amazing pizza (mexican corn was a favourite), and great coffee on top of that. Don’t miss this spot if you’re in the area.

Went to Forno after a hike at Foley. We had our dogs and they were very welcome on the patio. The server brought them bowls if water. Great service. We were early for pizza so we had sandwiches and tomato cucumber salad. Delicious. We will definitely be back for pizza and a beer.

Impressive delicious tasting pepperoni pizza! No soy in any of the ingredients which my tummy thanked me for. We ordered a second one after finishing the first one. The service and atmosphere were great! We'll be back!

The pizzas are inconsistent. We ordered two margaritas... One was burnt, the other was drowning in oil. Honestly, if you want a good pizza go to Westport Brewery.

We saw this place in Westport after a long time away and decided to give it a try. While the food and atmosphere were decent, I’m very sad to say that our service was absolutely horrible. Never in our lives have we had someone ignore us completely and act so rudely towards us in the 2 times she came up to us… yes, only 2 times. Our waitress (she did not give us a name, she had dark curly hair) came up to get our order 20 minutes after we sat (no introduction or greeting) and only came by again to throw our drinks at us (btw she lied to us about having ice as well and failed to bring it when we asked). Throughout our entire meal, which another server had to bring for us, we were ignored and then had to go find our waitress for the bill, to which she had a rude response. I hope this business takes all of this into account and trains their servers to be timely, but more importantly, kind. The food was great! However, a good meal isn’t worth horrible service, at least not to us!

OH MY WORD. This is an incredible addition to the whole province of Ontario let alone little Westport.

I cannot stop coming here- bread, coffee, pizza and cocktails all on par with any big city classy establishment.

Their craft is nothing short of near perfection.

Be proud Forno- you’re killing it.

My absolute fave sourdough... dense but light and flavourful at the same time. Pizza is terrific, right out of the wood-burning oven. Toppings are simple but pretty much perfect. Good wine selection and interesting non alcoholic choices too.

I love their bread!

This place is new in Westport but it really hits big. They specialize in sourdough but not too sour and use it to make baguettes (5/5), Portuguese buns (5/5), and especially pizzas (6/5). Leftovers are frozen for purchase at the end of the day. Great for the cottage.

If you like sourdough, you’ll love Forno!!! Best pizza in town by far. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is great whether you’re dining inside or on the deck.
