“I’ve been to The Bread Bowl three times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I’ve tried the Curry Chicken sandwich and the Cajun Chicken melt—both were absolutely delicious. The sourdough bread is toasted to perfection, and the Curry Chicken filling is generous, with pieces of apricot that add a lovely touch of sweetness. The Cajun Chicken melt is just as tasty, packed with flavor. Portions are very generous, so bring your appetite—I’ve always had leftovers, and they taste just as good the next day. Service is excellent, and while I chose to sit outside, the option to dine inside is available too. Highly recommend!“

“My favourite spot for just about any occasion—whether it’s a relaxed lunch, a casual meeting, a celebration, or refueling after a hike.

The menu evolves seasonally while still keeping the staples that locals and regulars come back for. The appetizers are light yet satisfying enough to stand in as a full meal. Love the mushroom pate, smoked fish dip, mussels, salmon avocado toast etc, etc. etc. The burger is consistently fantastic, and their unique daily soups always hit the spot. Vegetarian options are rich in flavour, hearty, and genuinely filling. And the steak - excellent.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff go out of their way to create a great experience. They’re also incredibly accommodating with takeout. Despite how popular this place is, they manage it seamlessly so everyone can enjoy their visit.
